Wyze app 3.10.5 - Released 1/30/2026

We have an Android app releasing today. Version 3.10.5.749 this fixes the issue where shared users were unable to use the garage door controller.

We know this is affecting iOS users also and as soon as that app gets reviewed by Apple we will release it also. We just wanted to get this out since it is affecting so many.

Update: 3.10.5 for iOS has been approved and is rolling out 2/2/2026

Yeah, this might be one of the first times ever in memory that Google approved a Wyze app update before Apple!

I updated both android phones to the new version. I tested the “shared” one, and I see the “Garage Door” button now. I might test it in the morning if I don’t forget.

How about the big android issue (on Pixel 7 Pro and others) where the app keeps crashing right after it’s open?

This has now been approved by iOS so 3.10.5 for iOS will start rolling out now.

Could we also get a version that allows us to view motion from events by just tapping the event icon annd we go automatically to view the motion.

In the current version we must tap the SD icon and Hope that we’ll actually see the motion.

You can do that right now if you have subscription

Yes, so when I bought my 10 devices that feature was included with the device.

I think devices that were purchased under the assumption that they would always work with the same functionality, should be grandfathered.

We should not have to pay for something that was included when we bought the units.

Are you referencing to Cam Lite? If that is the case the new cameras are not compatible with it.

Currently, I am using 3 Wyze cam 3s, 2 Wyze cam 2s and an older original Wyze cam.

I also have many other Wyze devices.

The TP-Link devices that I am using show the event motion when I click on the associated icon and I did not have to purchase the cloud option. It simply shows the event on my SD card like Wyze used to do!

When I hit EVENTS the app shows me a set of all events, like motion. Then I’ll tap on a specific event. The system then opens that event but when I tap the SD icon, a message says “no video available at this time”.

However, I ABSOLUTELY KNOW there is video.

please FIX THIS!

The microSD card issues have been frustrating for a long time (I’ve personally experienced some with one of my Cam Pan v3s but not the other :man_shrugging:), and apparently they’re making an effort to improve this experience:

Maybe take a look at that topic, try the suggestions, and then reply to Wyze with the requested information. I’d really like to see these problems solved.

I have always really appreciated Wyze products and I do not like the feeling I’ve had lately about their products.

Therefore, I definitely would be willing to help.

In that case, I repeat my recommendation to visit the topic I linked in my previous post and follow the instructions there. The Wyze Intern working on that topic recently reported success with another issue where they’ve been recruiting users for identifying and remediating a problem cause, so I believe they’re trying to focus attention on the microSD card issue, as well.
