I am not a Wyze employee. I do not speak for, nor represent Wyze in any official capacity. I am simply a user who knows a lot about Wyze and its products/services and have volunteered to help answer questions people ask, based on my extensive personal experience and knowledge. I will often reference quotes or links to official sources when applicable. When I give opinions, they are my own opinions, not representing Wyze’s opinion/stance.

Wyze said I was among their top 0.2% of customers (Dec 4, 2020 email).
I currently have over 300 Wyze devices or services (I stopped counting when I hit this number), I also stopped counting cameras when I got more than 50.

I have almost everything Wyze has made with a few exceptions, so it’s easier to list the things I don’t have: Cam v1, Masks, Car, Scale S, Window Mount. I have EVERYTHING else, even the mounting kits and accessories, and other Wyze-in-response items.

I’ve done complex rules through the Wyze App, as well as through Tasker, IFTTT, and Home AI (Google/Alexa) to make my Wyze devices do customized things including broadcast specific announcements over my Google Assistant and Alexa devices (“The front door was left open;” “Mail Delivered;” etc) and even automatically load camera feeds onto a screen (Smart display/tablet/TV) when a person is detected, or flash a color bulb a certain color for a few seconds to alert me to something important. Also, customizing sensors to work in unconventional ways.

I also have experience with products from some competitor companies of Wyze, but I always seem to come back to Wyze as my primary because of the great value and innovative custom firmware feature additions (and AI) = more awesome toys for me than if I used the others.

I’m really into Home Assistant lately (and use the 3rd party Wyze API to do advanced things with my Wyze stuff), and the Wyze Sense integration. I’ve used Docker Wyze Bridge, Tiny Cam Pro, and more. I’m starting use other dockers and find great ways to use them with my Wyze stuff.

I’ve worked professionally doing QA Testing & usability/user testing. Currently, I am “self-employed” with my own business(es) and investments.
