Miracles still happen. This has been requested constantly since the pro launched. I honestly thought it would never happen. I love that they are still working on adding more new automation actions! I hope this means other high demand ones are still possible in the future too.

This is HUGE! I don’t even own any of the Cam Floodlight products, but I’ve spent enough[1] time here in the Forum to know that a lot of newer Cam Floodlight users have been very vocal about this for a long time. Thank you, Wyze, for adding this! :+1:

I asked for this fix directly to the Founders exactly 10 days ago… I like to think I made a difference :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

That’s awesome. It may be that it just needed the right person to hear it and pass it along finally. Thanks for making use of the opportunity to mention it to them!

I don’t have Cam v3 or Garage Door Controller, so I can’t personally confirm the problem, but this app release apparently broke the opener for shared-access users, and the number of affected users is growing, as reported in this topic:

I suspect this is going to require a back-end change or a hotfix app release, but I haven’t yet seen any evidence that the engineers are aware of or investigating this issue.

Wyze Widget on IPhone 1/22/26

Is anyone else having a problem with the iPhone widget after the last Wyze App update about 1/22/26? When I would arm my home monitoring system it used to turn blue when armed and green when unarmed. Now it is Black all the time.

Welcome to the Forum, @Modgas!

I don’t use iOS or HMS, but I know they announced an iOS widget update with app version 3.10:

Maybe that change caused the issue you’re seeing? I’ll be interested to see if other iOS & HMS users can replicate this issue.

Also, if you could submit a log from the app and share the Log ID in this topic, that might help to improve the visibility of this issue for Wyze and give the engineers some direction for investigation.

Automation History Delete option is no longer available

Automation History Delete is no longer available.
Wyze App v3.10.0 (745)

There used to be a DELETE option for removing older Automation History. That DELETE option is no longer available, so the Automation History continue to accumulate which makes it harder to read through.

Why would the DELETE option be removed? Shouldn’t it be up to the individual user whether they wish to see older and obsolete History items?

Please return the DELETE option in Automation History.

Good catch! I can see that it’s in the previous production release, v3.9.0.739 (Android), as a Clear button in the upper-right corner of the Automation History screen. I have no idea why that would be removed.

It appears to be an Android app 3.10.0 (745) problem only.

The Automations History “Clear” button/link is still present in iOS app 3.10.0 (9).

Good to know. Thanks for checking! That makes this look more like an inadvertent deletion, I think.

Thanks Crease and Seapup!

I couldn’t remember the actual verbiage used on the button, so I called it the “Delete option”, LOL. I’m so glad it was y’all that followed up on my inquiry, I feel comfortable you’ll get the CLEAR button restored in an upcoming release.

It’s been a while since I’ve had any need to get involved with any issues as the app and cameras are functioning quite well. A minor problem with a 3 yr old Pan Cam that quit rotating Right & Left, although the Up & Down continue to function. Other than that, I have 14 other cameras that continue working 24 / 7 / 365. I’ve turned my neighbors onto Wyze cameras after they see the picture and automation functions.

Thanks again, Crease & Seapup.

For Android 16, Pixel 8 Pro

Ok, so…

I’m grateful that this latest (non-beta) app update corrected the overlay-items-not-hiding issue when viewing event recordings in landscape mode (see: Hide overlay issue - only partially fixed 🙁 )

BUT…

It’s only partially fixed. :slightly_frowning_face:

The original functionality would pop up the overlay items (camera name, detection time, thumbs up/down icons, Live view icon, SD card icon, etc..) when I started watching the first recording I wanted to view. This would happen immediately upon rotating my phone to landscape mode. Then, I could single-tap anywhere on the screen to hide the overlay items in order to see the entire screen more clearly without the overlay obstructing.

Unfortunately, that functionality was completely broken after an app update and the overlay became ‘stuck’ (un-hideable) on the screen when viewing event recordings in landscape mode.

After this most recent app update this part is now ‘fixed.’ But, with the original functionality, the overlay items used to STAY hidden and I could then swipe up or down to view the previous or next recording without having to keep single-tapping to clear the overlay as each successive recording came up. It would stay ‘locked’ where it belongs (out of sight) until I either single-tapped again to bring it back up, or I rotated back to portrait mode. Kind of an on-demand mode, if you will.

Now, I have to single-tap after every swipe!

As each recording comes up after I swipe to see the next one, I have to single-tap again to hide the overlay items! Every. Time. :expressionless_face:

Swipe-tap-swipe-tap-swipe-tap. Painful! I very much prefer swipe-tap (once)-swipe-swipe-swipe.

It’s a small, but irritating thing. Wyze, please return things to the original functionality!

Thanks for the fix so far that at least allows me to hide the overlay. Much appreciated. :+1:t4:
