Thanks Jason.
I will wait for @habib to provide his report on testing.
I don’t see it available, yet.
Installed it on both iPhone and iPad. It seems more stable than the beta 3.2.5 (5). The beta randomly crashed when selecting cameras from favourites page. Still disappointed that doesn’t have a full landscape and dark mode.
Android versions are usually behind due to Google policies.
Live view still crashes as I’ve stated three versions ago. Keep adding new features while having inoperable basic features.
Many of us are waiting for the vdb duo mechanical chime resolution for Android. Nice to have the update released as proposed on time, but why tell us to go to the Google Play Store to download and update as soon as the release is announced if you know by experience it won’t be there. Add the caveat in the announcement that Android users should expect or wait a few days for the update to be available in Play Store. Wouldn’t this help calm the frustration being experienced for the many “not ready for prime time” moves Wyze makes all too often?
Live view for single cams, groups or loading the cams from favorites?
I have no issues loading single cam live views or loading them via the monitoring page. I don’t have groups and don’t load live video via the favorites page.
When you load from groups or favorites, the views are live but you can still do individual live views. No issues with Android version of app. IOS issue maybe?
I would have rather see 6 cameras on the monitoring tab (turn summary section and home/away section into pull down tabs if needed) rather than multi pages of only 4 cameras per page.
Not available for me, yet.
Good luck.
EDIT: Got it.
3.2.5.591
Android 14 Nov update
Samsung S21 Ultra
Been running 3.2.5 591 for a few hours. All seemed normal until I clicked on a non-grouped WBCP.
I was presented with the following screen:
Seen it before. No biggie. Clicked “Skip”. Wyze app crashed.
Then it got interesting. The same camera is in a Group. It worked perfectly. I was able to drill into it no problem.
Tried removing the camera from Favorites. Same problem from “Devices”.
Then nuked and restarted everything. No change.
Of course this is the one camera of my 9 that needs a ladder. I don’t do Ladders anymore–so have to wait for a few days for family member to help.
Meanwhile I’ll just view the camera from it’s group and hope Wyze can fix this from their side.
I have a log ready.
p.s. Tested my other cams. They do not have this issue.

“Record to MicroSD card” setting does not stick. When will Wyze wake up and do regression tests so these side bugs are caught before release? I’m on Android.
And trying to look at cameras in the “Devices” tab results in crashes. This is a bad release.
Check your v3s after today’s app update. I’m on Android and the update has turned off the record to SD card toggle on all my v3s and when I turn it back on the setting won’t stick. However, everything is still recording to the SD card. Also, I have a new setting for v3s to control the motor speed and reset the rotation. Which obviously isn’t made for the v3s that aren’t pans. I also have two of the same toggles for IR lights now. Also, just discovered that show time stamp has been toggled off but it’s still showing the timestamp.
I only have the V3s so I don’t know if it’s affecting other cameras or not.
Maybe Wyze is replacing your V3 with a pan cam V3?
So far seems good including 3 pages (12 cams) for monitor.
Still hoping for 2 cams side-by-side in favorites on iPad.
Advanced settings for v3’s now mirror the pan cam v3 with motor control and 3 entries for Night Vision IR Lights settings. Some other settings involuntarily changed on others.
I retired from a career with 1 of the largest healthcare insurers in the country. Worked very closely with IT for our operations. Became more critical when we started multi-state mergers. There would be massive firings if what is coming out of Wyze was experienced with our operational results. But then again, regression testing was critical to any system implementations, modifications or updates and I was part of many.
Wyze can’t continue down this path, it’s executing a death sentence for the business and we will all be the losers with tons of equipment that will go dark.
Yep, in most dev shops, errors this egregious are a firing offense.
Would be wise to check all cams with sd cards. All my cams had record to sd card toggled off and events switched to continuous (I only record events). Not a pleasant task to encounter since I have 26 active cams with sd cards.
This is what happened to my floodlight V2. On closer inspection, what really happened was, the sensitivity was raised and it kept recording even though there is no visible motion.
To test, temporarily decrease the sensitivity and you’ll see gaps in the SD recording.
So which of the 3 IR settings do I use now? Lol. They’re all the same.
