Yesterday, 11-7, I updated to beta:
Yesterday beta 3.2.5 b585.
Today, 11-8 you are posting what appears to be PR 3.2.2 586.
I’m confused. Who’s on first?
Thank you.
Looks it is just for scales. I don’t have a scale so I’ll skip it.
Understood. I’m just confused by the numbering scheme. To me they don’t make sense.
Any idea when app crashing will be addressed? On my iPad, entering live view on a few cams will immediately crash the app. Those same cams will show correctly in Favorites, but entering into them crashes the app. It’s not camera specific. I have eight cams and the issue could be on any of them.
Good catch. According to Google Play, beta585 has all the following:
But x.586 is one incremented number higher and so theoretically should include all that stuff in the beta, but it doesn’t mention any of that new stuff. It just says:
Since I don’t use Apple Health, I think I’m going to stick with the Beta which has some new cool features. Time to disable automatic updates for the Wyze app in Google Play if you don’t want the hotfix to overwrite the Beta.
I’m not seeing the Hotfix as an option yet, just the Beta, so it looks like Google hasn’t approved it yet. It will be a great update for Apple Health users though.
It appeared on Google play overnight. Like you I’m not updating to 586 until I see a bit more clarity. I’m nervous about a one day beta.
I’m glad I was nervous about a 1 day beta.
I did not update my daily driver, s21 ultra. I left it on b585. The changes to the Monitor tab are really good. It allows multiple screens. Each with 4 cameras. I do not have HMS so I seldom used the monitor tab. I now am thinking of adding it into my daily routine. It gets around the group issue that only allows a camera to be used in one group.
Now for the confusion. I fired up my old Samsung S10 and updated to the hot fix, PR 586. The new monitor tab features are not there. Bummer.
I’m sitting on b585 until we get some clarity from Wyze.
This is fairly common with hotfixes. I believe this is just in case the hotfix correction is critical for a beta user too.
Wyze will add all the new features into the official November release.
But I agree with you that I would much rather have the cool new Beta features! I am also enjoying those updates. I think they just forgot to start a beta announcement thread for this version.
The version released today seems to have fixed the crashes. Thank you.
