Why, sir? You need POE, with only one port coming off the router? Add a POE supported switch coming off the router. Save increasing the expense to all on the router to satisfy POE for a few people.

The request is to have the router powered by POE, not provide POE. This allows the router placement without an electrical outlet. Same for additional nodes in the mesh.

Just replaced my eeros with the router pro. Overall satisfied with it. I’ve been with wyze since early 2021. I love them. This is my first time doing this. This is my wishlist so far:
-
able to pause internet to an individual device while it’s in a group.
-
test the internet speed coming into the router from modem. Remotely.
-
see which devices are in which router as a whole group. Click on router “1” and have a list of all devices connected.

+1 to the internet test from the Root Router, ideally on a daily basis. For those on DSL, this is necessary because sometimes the DSL sync will result in lower speeds and the modem needs reset. Necessary for cable customers because sometimes they get surprise bandwidth upgrades and want to know about it!

I would also like to see the ability to manually change the wireless channel used along with the wireless channel size on the 5Ghz & 6Ghz frequency radios.

I would like to have the ability create different SSIDs for the 2.4 and 5Ghz networks WITHOUT having to factory reset the routers. I didn’t think I’d want or need to do so when I setup my MESH Router, but kinda wish I could change it now, but don’t want to have to re-add 30 devices to the system to do it.

The ability to use the extra ethernet port when in Bridge Mode. Trying to plug something in the ethernet port in bridge mode causes the router to reboot and turn off bridge mode.

This is the first time I am seen this. Thank you for reporting it. I added this to the list of Fix-it-Friday reports here:
@WildBill if you are using bridge mode still on yours, can you confirm whether this happens to you too when you try to use the ethernet port?

I’m not currently using bridge mode. I plan to eventually but not yet.

Agree. Would even pay for enhanced parental control features listed above.
Add data usage / bandwidth tracking and reporting, to be able to audit if you have went over your data cap or not.
Add VPN capabilities, with ISP’s snooping on your traffic a whole house vpn becomes a need.
Add ability to delete devices, you offered daughters boyfreind guest access, boyfriend is no more, why am I being punished by seeing his device still?
Use device name for ‘devices’ in the device list instead of the MAC address, which would make it eaiser to figure out a rouge device or troubleshooting.
Add a dedicated Wireless Backhaul, because speed is everything 
Add ability to test WAN internet speed (including remotely), is it just my pc/phone or is it my ISP?
Add the ability to see which devices are connected to the guest network, or each network I have as Wyze cameras have to be on a 2.4gz to reliably work so need to be ale to have separate SSID’s for each band as well as guest.
Add WAN Speed Test ability, my streaming is buffering, is it interference or the provider
Ability to set the Channel for each band, for those dense WIFI areas
Allow for Hidden SSID’s, I don’t need to make it easier for the script kid to find me.

2.5gig LAN ports on mesh router and satellite
Mesh routers. Offer 2.5 gig WAN ports but then its constrained by 1 gig LAN ports. Be the firs to put 2.5 gig LAN ports on the router mesh system.

Ability to set the Channel for each band. Some older Apple products don’t perform good (and stable) enough with certain bands.
