Yeah, there’s another entire topic about that (and an opportunity to vote for a #wishlist item). In my personal experience, I can see the live feed in the Google Home app and on a smart display/TV/Chromecast most of the time, but notifications on smart speakers are apparently a no-go without some kind of workaround.
