Anyone with this model, be aware that this firmware broke my spotlights from working automatically with motion from the settings area. There is a workaround to setup an automation to control the spotlight instead that is working well for me. So if your spotlight stops working automatically, you can try that.
I just reconnected my cam pan v3 and it worked fine. Then it said I have a firmware update. So it downloaded and installed NOW it won’t connect to WIFI no matter what I try.
So, I’ve had one of my Cam Pan v3s on the beta firmware to test the RTSP. If I now leave the Beta, will the one currently with beta firmware be able to move to the new regular firmware version OTA? If so, will it keep its RTSP settings?
Has the issue with RTSP firmware not working with Tinycam been resolved with this release?
I agree with @habib’s answer and would also note that there has been no apparent version change between the most recent Cam Pan v3 β firmware and this production release:
I haven’t seen any news about the tinyCam Monitor situation. I would tend to agree with others who think that the developer will probably release an update at some point that will allow it to work with these Wyze firmware changes, but that’s just speculation on my part.
Having the same problem over last several days. Works fine on a web browser but not on iOS platform. Very frustrating. Constantly rebooting, reinstalling app, powering on and off and nothing seems to help. What is being done bout this?
