Thanks. I got used to this layout; but change is good.

Can you please add to the feedback on when viewing devices in the device tab, can it have a button to turn on and off devices like smart plugs and switches.

I don’t really need to add all the plugs to my favorites, but would be nice just having a quick action from within the device tab and not having to go into extra screens to simply turn on and off a device.

On the favorites page, it would be nice to be able to long press / hold the group tile for lights to enter the group in addition to the arrow provided at the top.

Seeing a bug that on this new version I’m not allowed to turn on and off the other motion notifications for the cam v3 and v4. This does work on older version. When trying to turn on or off I get this error.

Something new…

On my V3 and V4 cams, I found that I am unable to turn notifications on / off from the actual Settings > Notifications menu.

When I tap the toggle to turn notifications off–they were on when I upgraded to the Android beta app–I see “Loading” for a bit. This times out after 15 seconds or so with the setting remaining unchanged.

I have several rules (automations) set up to turn notifications on / off. These appear to be working properly.

Thanks for the report! We are aware of this issue, and the engineering team is currently working on a fix! Thanks again for your patience!

Not sure if it is something that Wyze team is working on at the back end, but today the cameras on the favourites page loaded extremely slow outside local network, for example on cel or outside local wifi. Almost a minute for the cameras to load, really unacceptable.

I hope this issue gets fixed before releasing the app into production.

It’s because multiple cameras are hammering the network to load. I’m on 1.2gb fiber and our remote cameras on 1/2 gb T-mob home internet are slow and sometimes just say offline - till you load them manually. The favorites is not only loading the camera centered on screen, it’s loading others off screen also.

I’ve definitely noticed how slow the cams load on the favorites page.

I saw your previous post about force closing and clearing the cache, that worked really well but only for a small amount of time.

The delay seems to be getting worse from day to day.

So I made a post about this a few days ago, but just seeing if anyone is seeing this issue. Was just looking tonight and it’s still happening.

Liking the Automation Tab showing how long till the automation will run again. However, I think there is a bug, unless the timer is only at the hour level. Here is what I am seeing:

The Time is 7:12 am as shown by the first yellow arrow. The next runtime on Home Mode is 1 Hour, but it is set to run at 7:30 which is 18 minutes away. Can someone confirm the interval this will display at?

If it is a bug, I provided a log: 1440142
Android App: 3.0.0.b489

They should add “Coming up in ~1 hour”.

Here is another one, 1440242. Happen at 8:35 central time. I will note I have been seeing it happen more often on my Wyze v3 that is connected to the garage door controller. When loading it was stuck on step 3/3.

I just want to add that group view on the older app v2.5 is light years ahead in speed loading live view compared to the new v3.0.

Thanks for this info! I’ll pass this over to our developer to take a look.
