The app update mentioned sounds great! I am really looking forward to turning off notification from cameras shared with me. I have checked for updates on my Android device two times since the OP in this thread. Thus far, Google is not offering the update to my Samsung Galaxy S23.
I wonder if this particular app update (and associated production back end changes) is causing problems for users (especially those sharing device access) of Cams that are not included in the notification management rollout. The timing seems suspicious for that. Note discussion in these topics:
Great question man. I did finally get the update this afternoon. Now to get the person that was sharing with me to turn back on their notifications. I convinced her years ago to turn them off. Hmm maybe not so much convincing, but more like chronic complaining on my part got her to turn them off. Too many trees and shadows from cams mounted outdoors. All of those past notifications were driving me bonkers!
No these issues are caused by something else. We are still trying to work out a fix.
Good deal. As I stated in those topics, it’s just speculation on my part. Maybe the timing’s just coincidental.

I just wanted to chime in and give App 3.15 a Thumbs Up for my basic uses (live view, SD card playback and viewing Cloud Event videos. I updated my iPad and Android devices to 3.15. I never had the Notification problem others describe.
