Right, and what I’m saying is that it’s been possible for Android users to essentially “screen” unwanted notifications for a while by using a third-party app, if so desired, but iOS/iPadOS users haven’t had this option, AFAIK, because of the control Apple imposes on that OS. I’m not saying that’s what you should do, but it’s something you could do and users have done to deal with this problem in the past.
