For the last 3 days 2 of my cameras are not working in this app but work in the wyze app on my phone and iPad. I have tried unplugging them. I deleted app and connected the cameras again. I even got a new firestick but these 2 cameras still dont work on any of our firesticks please help

What firmware version(s) are you using on your Cam Pan v3s? I suspect your issue is related to one of these firmware releases:
There’s been a lot of discussion from Cam v4 users about how that December release broke tinyCam Monitor’s ability to stream those Cams, so I wonder if something similar is happening with your situation. Apparently the developer of that app has provided some feedback to users on Reddit:
If your issue at this point is primarily with the tinyCam Monitor PRO app, then you might want to check with the developer of that app via his Web site or subreddit to get a better idea of when Wyze Cams running these newer firmware versions will be supported again.
As @crease mentioned, when you are running 3rd party software with these cams, it is important to not update firmware until you’ve check the release notes of the firmware and especially checked with the 3rd party app provider to ensure it is supported.
The Panv3 just got an update which lists in the release notes a minimum required app version, and that’s a pretty good sign that it is going to take a while for the 3rd parties to update their apps to support it. The Panv3 can be manually downgraded to older firmware so you may want to do that and disable any auto updates in the meantime.
PSA: It looks like all Fire TV sticks are no longer compatible because they were running off of 32-bit Android instead of 64-bit.
To clarify, the hardware is 64-bit compatible, but for some reason Amazon decided to continue to use the 32-bit Android operating system. Their newer devices are expected to all be using 64-bit os’s, though possibly using their new “Vega OS” based on Linux instead of Android. Though their intent is to make things less compatible in a locked ecosystem where you can’t easily side load APKs (which will no longer work), and will require all apps to rebuilt specifically for them so they can maintain control and monetization in a closed system… Though the performance will be better. Tiny cam Dev implies he’ll probably support it though.
Everything is functioning properly on my Android phone after the latest release. However, when using BlueStacks (Android 11), the cameras initially activate, but the application suddenly closes and the screen shuts down.
This behavior may be related to a video card or graphics driver issue, although my GPU drivers are fully updated. Further investigation may be needed to determine whether this is a compatibility issue with BlueStacks or a graphics rendering conflict.
why do they keep making new cameras when they can’t keep the ones they got working everytime there’s a update it makes something else not work tiny cam creator works for wyze you would think we wouldn’t have to wait for anything dont put it on the shelves if it ain ready to sell im done with wyze v4 pan still cant view on tiny cam now new update on v3pan had made it now not work on tiny cam screw going back a verison everytime I bought tp link tapo they work fine on tiny cam throwing these brand new wyze ones away they ain’t worth giving away
I’m not sure why you’re asking me this, but I’ve asked similar questions in the past about fixing problems and improving the user experience with existing products instead of releasing new device models. ![]()
Wyze cameras are not advertised to work with Tiny Cam or any other 3rd party app. They work fine with their own app and that is the ONLY thing that they are tested against when firmware is released.
Yes, the Tiny Cam creator/developer works for Wyze, however he created the app before working for wyze and continues to develop it on his own time, it is NOT supported by Wyze.
I’m sure the fact that he works for wyze is why Tiny Cam is able to update to support new authentication and protocols sooner than the other 3rd party apps.
RTSP will help resolve this as it is a standard protocol and doesn’t rely on external authentication. I’m not sure if that’s what the Tapos are using, but if not, you’ll have the same issues with them at some point.
I have the same problem. Three of my V3 cams don’t show in tiny cam pro on firestick.
If you read through the thread, you’ll see that Fire TV Stick is no longer compatible with the latest Tiny Cam versions which are needed to connect to the latest camera firmware.
So you can either downgrade your firmware or get a TV streaming device that supports 64 bit apps (and thus the latest tiny cam version).
