I have a small monitor and a Firestick running TinyCam Pro in the living room displaying a live feed from my birdhouse camera. Well, it used to.
The feed is great on all of our iPads and iPhones.
I haven’t used this camera since the last brood fledged.
I have tried everything I know of to get this v3 displaying on the monitor. I can easily display other v3 cameras on this monitor using TinyCam Pro. It is JUST this camera. Again, the camera is not suspect as I can see the feed from other devices. Numerous resets and power cycling of the camera and router also did not correct the issue.
Replacing the v3 is out of the question because there is an active nest in the box. No eggs yet, but the vacancysign is lit.
Do your other cams have the same firmware? There was much discussion about Tiny Cam earlier this year, I don’t use any of the RTSP or Tiny Cam stuff so I have no first hand experience.
This is frustrating. I uninstalled Tinycam Pro and when I looked for it in the AppStore, and selected TinyCam pro, it loaded WYZE V3 Pro app tutorial which is not Tinycam Pro
I’m thinking my v1 Firestick isn’t supported but before I buy the latest and greatest, perhaps these screenshots will confirm my suspicions
Minimum Android version set to 9 (Amazon Fire TV OS 7 minimum).
You may be Sierra Oscar Lima for the latest tinyCam Monitor Pro version and this Fire TV Stick. I don’t have any experience with those, so I don’t know what your options are, but I’d probably be investigating two things at this point:
Official sources for older tinyCam Monitor Pro builds (I don’t know if the developer provides those or not)
Side-loading an older APK from an unofficial source (whichever APK repository you trust)
