Yes, I just checked and my V2’s and V3’s are also losing connectivity sometimes.
Since I have some cams that never disconnect (like my Floodlight Pros), it seems the issue must mostly be on the Wyze side of things. I think it has something to do with their new firmware which messed with the authorization protocols a little bit. Hopefully they can figure out how to get those cameras more stable like my FLPros.
It’s random. Seems to be V3 cams mostly - and again 1 or 2 randomly out of the 18 active cams I have, 2 of which are Pan3s. One might reconnect, but not consistent. Given my phone version is working flawlessly (with my phone on the same network), leads me to believe the web portal connections are not stable. The app is still a big enhancement - being able to see all cams active - but unfortunately not completely stable.
Mine are connected 100% of the time. Always come up fine unless there is a power issue, and they 18 are spread over three homes. And I do not have crazy internet speed - 100mb up to 500mb at one location. 100mb is more than enough to run the cams. I used to drop my internet to cameras only ie 5mb, and they all worked fine. So I still think there is something going on with portal connections - maybe capacity…puzzle for the Wyze engineers.
Yup, same for me. Think the portal needs some fine tuning. But still think it is a great concept when refined.
Still nothing for me on the new version. The events work well, but all I get on the main page is a screen full of black squares that say “connection failed”. All cameras are working in the app.
Interesting to note here:
While the sound is behind the video by as much as 2 seconds sometimes on the ios and android apps, here in the web portal, the sound is AHEAD of the video by a bit.
How bout we get it synced in both?
Wyze Web Portal Doesn’t Work for Me
I got an email announcing “Meet the all-new Wyze Web Portal!”. Well, it simply does not work at all for me, after numerous attempts yesterday and today. It used to sometime kinda work a bit, but now absolutely nothing. Is it me or are others having the same problem?
[Mod Note]: Your topic was merged to this main Web Portal topic for better visibility to Wyze and in order for you to receive help from the forum community.
I am also experiencing some significant Cam loading issues. You are not alone in that regard. Others have posted similar above.
I get the exact same thing. After lots of spinning, eventually ALL of my cameras show the “Connection Failed” error just like yours. I’ve never seen this work at all. Is it a router issue?
Every single camera goes to lost connected for me too, Every time.
Refresh the page, almost all start out connected, but you can watch the fun as they all start dying. I have Floodlight Pro, v3pro, v3, doorbell, pan2.
24 running right now.
Ubiquiti Edge router 4 and LR APs.
So many people are having the same issues, I highly doubt it is the routers.
Or would be interesting to know just how they tested this in house before releasing it.
It’s really weird, after the update my v3 pro oscillates between working and not working in web view. I also have a pan can v3 that oscillates, but it works more often than the v3 pro. both with updated firmware. I can see everything via the iOS app and I use a recent Asus rt-ax58u router without any blocking configuration. I hope this is a temporary problem, but in any case I thank you for the improvement in the portal, it may not be the portal of your dreams, but it is a sign of concern about the customer experience.
The new web portal is just another joke on us. I have tried it several times on different browsers. Best I get is 8 out of 9 cameras, ranging from the V2 all the way to the latest cameras with the latest firmware and within 2 minutes only a couple are active. Mean while they all work for viewing on the phone.
I have 6 pan v3s. With the resent firmware upgrade.
Only 1 cam will connect to the new portal.
On the old portal I can get most of them to connect.
All my cams work from the app.
No controls over the cams from the portal…like putting them in privacy mode.
Not very impressed
Same thing here and I am beyond frustrated with Wyze. Almost exactly 2 years ago they announced Web View. I dumped my old security camera system and went all in on Wyze, A dozen cameras later and I have never been able to get them to stay up on Web View. I sent logs, exchanged emails, talked to “wizards” updated the router, added 2Gb fiber optic, and even called the support line. Never a solution. I even purchased a dedicated desk top just to try to view the cameras. Finally gave up and started searching for a replacement. I was very hopeful when they announced the portal. Seems like it would solve the problem. But alas it’s “same [Mod Edit], different day,” Mine looks just like that, but I’m only trying to view 4 cameras.

Web View worked fine for the last 3 months with no problems
Now, 20 minutes ago I got this??
Just received this on Web View, Cleared Cache but it is still there.
We have 20 Cameras Running and can only see all of them at the same time live through web view.
when using the app you can only view one camera at a time live.
We need Webview to monitor all live cameras at once
What is the NEW link to The “NEW IMPROVED WEB PORTAL”?
2nd post from the top, my.wyze.com
New Wyze website
all cams worked fine on old web-view website. on the new one none are working properly. is there a way to access he old website. as well, grouping seems to be gone?
Very curious, tonight everything decided to work fine using the Edge browser, but with Chrome things went wrong
Using Edge, it still looses all the cams in no time.
Viewing events, video plays smooth, but sound is not supported.
Fast forwarding does not work.
Using Firefox, cams also keep dropping like flies.
Viewing events, the playback is choppy.
Sound on and off works, but, there is no sound to hear, and I know there is sound.
