Wyze robotic vacuum dead

I have a robot vacuum that I moved from one house to another. In the previous house it worked just fine. At the second house it is like dead. No lights on the buttons, tried all to reset, etc. I put it in the charging dock, but nothing. Is there some secret reset? Any help would be appreciated.

How long was the vacuum sitting and not used?

Check if the blue LED is lit on the charging base.

If the LED is lit, check for voltage at the charging base connectors. 20VDC

If all that checks out, the vacuum might need to be rebooted. To do that, remove the main brush, then remove the 4 screws holding the battery cover on. Then carefully lift the battery out and disconnect it. Wait a minute, reassemble and keep your fingers crossed.

It was only unplugged for less than a day
Blue light on the charging station is on
I don’t have a multi-meter, but my electrical sniffer showed power at both electrodes
I opened it up and disconnected the battery, waited for several minutes and reconnected it
Still nothing

It might be the protection board, but you would need some kind of voltage tester to check it. If the battery has gone completely asleep and you dock the vacuum, can the mainboard wake the battery, or must it work the other way around and the mainboard must get some power from the battery before it can start a charge. I’ll do some tests eventually when I get around to replacing the batteries.

If you have a voltmeter, check the battery. If that is OK, then trace the circuit to the board. The next step would be to disassemble the vacuum and look for a broken wire or partially unplugged connector. I’m not aware of a common problem regarding powering on.
