What mAh battery did you purchase? My vacuum says it has a 3000mAh battery. The Ali site has 2800, 3200mAh batteries and up. I assume the greater the mAh the bigger the battery dimensions - just want to make sure I get one that fits.
Here is the one I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BTYY7RQN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details which is a 6000 mAh. It did not appear to make much difference, though. It still needs to recharge partway through each vacuum cycle.
Thank you. I placed my order and should get it on Wednesday.
My robot vacuum can’t complete a room at the moment, so anything will be better than having to go looking for it when it dies.
Please let us know how the new battery goes. Thanks!
It worked really well. perfect and came in only 2 weeks, not 2 months as advertised
Sorry you had this issue. I too need a new battery. So in my search of course Wyze doesn’t have a battery replacement for the vacuum only their stick vacuum. I did find some help on this forum site for a link for a new battery for 19+ dollars but with shipping it came to $32.
Keeping my fingers crossed! I do love my Wyze vacuum but I can’t believe that this company is soooo slow in their support with replacement products!! I got this vacuum when it first came out and had to search for filters!! Also had to search recently for a new dust bin! All replacement parts should be easy to find on their website!! I think that should be pretty simple!!
The original battery in my robot vac still provides about an hour of run time at full suction. I have a spare battery from AliExpress to swap out when the original battery fails. But I remember reading that the AliExpress battery doesn’t have the capacity compared to the original battery and returns to recharge sooner.
Can anyone confirm this?
I’m in the same boat. My battery is dying and would have liked Wyze to offer a replacement battery instead of expecting us to buy a NEW vacuum. How about Wyze being more responsible and not adding to more electronic waste and just sell a new battery so we can continue to use our Wyze vacuum. Come on Wyze, you can do better.
Agreed! Was pleased to see they are stocking dust bins. I was worried that the fine mesh screen would be easy to damage.
But a battery is a sure thing.
Can someone please share how to open the Wyze robot vacuum and replace the battery. I unscrewed all the 7 screws in the base but still it doesn’t open up.
Welcome to the forums!
It’s way easier than that. Put the seven screws back in. Right next to the area where the beater bar is you will find 3 three or four little tiny screws. I think you have to open the beater bar door to see them. Then the battery slides out you unplug the battery, plug in the new battery replacement the battery, put the cover back on put the three screws back on and replace the beater bar and cover…you are done
Thank you. That was super easy to locate the battery. I have ordered replacement battery from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BZPHGTPZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
Thanks!
Make sure the connector is the same as the one on your battery so that it’s plug compatible. I can’t remember but for some reason it looks different to me and I’m a little disabled today so can’t take time to open mine up and look at it. It says something about a wise back mopping robot and the one I have is not the mopping version. The good thing about Amazon is you can return stuff
Aliexpress sells the battery for half that with free shipping.
Lots of different mAh ratings. I picked a battery that was close to the Amazon 4800 mAh

You can cancel the Bezos battery and have the AliExpress battery in about 12 days.
I need an AliExpress intervention.
[Mod Edit]: Replaced cloaked AliExpress affiliate referral link with clean product link.
I copied the link like I usually do. So this does not happen again, what did I do wrong?
People frequently copy product links not knowing what all the gobbledygook tags are in the URL. The link ends up being copied over and over… viral. The issue is that some of the links pay out referral bonuses to the user who signed up for the manufacturer’s or web outlet’s affiliate marketing program and originally created/posted the link. Some payouts are given only when someone purchases via the link… some payouts are based on number of clicks (click-through-rate). Amazon and AliExpress are notorious for affiliate links. It’s not your fault. Wyze just prefers that affiliate links are not used on the forum.
I am lost. Excuse my ignorance. I have been copying the link the same way for quite some time. How can I tell if it goes against Wyze rules?
Thanks.
On AliExpress, if you see “&aff_fcid” in the link (URL) it’s an affiliate link. Just strip off all the junk following “.html”, starting with and including “?”.
On Amazon, if you see “&tag”, same story, but strip everything from the 1st “?” on.
You don’t really need to worry about this stuff. If we stumble upon it, we edit it out for you.
