I have the same problem indeed. The thread is no longer compatible with my outdoor wyze housing mount unit so I decided NOT to upgrade my wyze cam v2. to OG.

The new housing are dirt cheap on Amazon, i replaced 8 old V2 that i had outside with OG model and got the housing on amazon and the new clear double stick think tape i put a OG zoom on a few cams
