All V3s updated without issues.

Did it from the firmware update page. Decided to do all at once to see. Worked great.

Edit

Just tested and my cameras load faster. Will see if it continues after a few days of use.

Just tested this issue:

Preliminary results are good. I updated at 3:11pm MT, went back and watched the SD card playback starting at 2:59pm and it continued playing without skipping the first minute of the hour.

Just updated 2 x V3 cameras - 1 is ok the other will not connect to my local network. Tried reinstalling all goes well until it tries to connect to local network which fails.
How can i go back to previous fw version ?

100% update successful across all my v3’s without any manual restart/reconfig required. That’s a win for sure given my luck  and past experiences…

Welcome to the Wyze User Community Forum @bpagniello! :raising_hand_man:

You can download the previous version firmware from the Release Notes & Firmware Page, do a factory reset, unplug the cam, and flash the previous version firmware manually. I would do a factory reset after the old firmware is flashed successfully as well. The Firmware Page states that a factory reset is required if you go back, but it doesn’t say if this is required before the flash or after.

Manualy downgraded firmware to 4.36.10.3406. V3 again and cam is working fine now.
I guess I will wait for next update.

I lost streaming ability using alexa skills to my amazon echo show 5. The alexa app also does not work with streaming after the update. I submitted a log (log id 982238). The stream initializes, but just hangs and then Alexa says “hmm the camera isn’t responding”.
