Preliminary results are good. I updated at 3:11pm MT, went back and watched the SD card playback starting at 2:59pm and it continued playing without skipping the first minute of the hour.
Sorry for the trouble. Could you help us by submitting a log for the streaming issue to Google Nest Home hub? We will check this issue. Thank you very much.
Just updated 2 x V3 cameras - 1 is ok the other will not connect to my local network. Tried reinstalling all goes well until it tries to connect to local network which fails.
How can i go back to previous fw version ?
Welcome to the Wyze User Community Forum @bpagniello!
You can download the previous version firmware from the Release Notes & Firmware Page, do a factory reset, unplug the cam, and flash the previous version firmware manually. I would do a factory reset after the old firmware is flashed successfully as well. The Firmware Page states that a factory reset is required if you go back, but it doesn’t say if this is required before the flash or after.
Manualy downgraded firmware to 4.36.10.3406. V3 cam working fine now.
Tried upgrading to new beta fw - update seems successful but camera will not connect to my local network !.
Manualy downgraded firmware to 4.36.10.3406. V3 again and cam is working fine now.
I guess I will wait for next update.
Have a v3 w/ flood light that is not responsive after attempted update. Tried power cycle several times. No effect. Any help on how to recover would be appreciated.
I lost streaming ability using alexa skills to my amazon echo show 5. The alexa app also does not work with streaming after the update. I submitted a log (log id 982238). The stream initializes, but just hangs and then Alexa says “hmm the camera isn’t responding”.
