Wyze sell the wyzecam outdoor base separately

This statement is not directly on topic but it is indirectly connected, i.e., if Wyze can sell the outdoor based separately, why not the base station?
I realize Iām wasting time. I have to say this will be the last straw for Wyze.
We purchased 4 V1 cams (guess theyāre āOGā now), the scale, lost count of how many lightbulbs, Home Monitoring, Outdoor cam, and wyze lock.
I started to lose it when they cancelled our sub to Home Monitoring after we had to cancel a card. We took the time to update in our account, and Wyze was kind enough to keep the cam plus sub we had on the account but cancelled the Home and wouldnāt give us the price we paid to resub. or even a solid reason why they cancelled it. I sent it back swearing never again. But I did.
Now my base station has died. Nothing I can do to fix it, and Iāve asked to purchase another so I can use the 2 cams I have. Nope. Just like before itās basically āThanks for supporting us, now pound sandā. Iām not asking them to give me one. I get itās out of warranty. I want to buy it with my own hard earned money. Nope.
Iāve never seen a company that pretends so hard to be pro consumer, offering affordable tech, then is so anti-customer with their CS. I mean, I know in todays world loyalty is meaningless but Iām offering to purchase something. Things must have recovered and are so good they just say " We donāt want your money".
So yeah, this time I mean it. Replacing the aging Wyze Bulbs with something else, same with the V1 cams I have and eventually the door lock. Itās clear (as I supidly ignored before) Wyze is not interested in customers beyond warranty.
You are spot on. The arrsgonce of the company is bewildering.
Color me surprised. After a very frustratng email exchange someone finally helped me. I offered to pay for it but they made a āone timeā exception and are sending me another. So maybe try now>

I donāt blame you. Iām done once these cams die. I have 2 and the wife wants them when sheās home alone.

Well the replacement will not connect to my router. Works hardwired. Guess I should be grateful? Had to rearrange all kinds of stuff.

But if you already have the cords, then the Base Station itself can be purchased alone for cheaper. I love that they give us the option.

Thanks for the response. I tried to order the item but the seller seems to be unable to stick a stamp on the box to send it to Australia.
These are sold out - when are they back in stock.

Iām not sure if they ever will be. I think it is a possible planned phasing out of the OG outdoor cam. If they stop working due to eventual base station failures then we would either have to buy a newer cam of switch platforms. I have 4 cams that are currently bricked due to the base station being out of stock.
I want to purchase an additional base station. I am told by WYZE that one cannot buy a base station separately. How bizzare is that?

Cant find a way to oficially buy a new base station (to replace my actual one which failed me horribly after firmware update)
For some bizzare reason they will not sell the base station alone. So if a base station goes down, for example your dog eats it, you have to buy a new camera. Doesnāt make a lot of sense.

SELL THE BASE STATION INDIVIDUALLY!!! There are many reasons to do this. The largest of which is that the range for a single base station isnāt large enough for the 4 outdoor cameras to all use the same one.

Well said. Not selling them separately seems most odd. Get a grip WYZE.
