Wyze App notifications not stacking on Android

Same issue on Pixel.

I think they are making changes in notifications for some cameras. My V3ā€™s are not stacking, but also they are not longer static pictures, now they are sometimes one, but normally 2 or 3 animated frames. My OG, OG Pan, etc, group (stack) notifications, but have no animations.
I think they are experimenting with V3.

Donā€™t like the animated captures one bit.
Experiment and float trial balloons in testing not full scale/stable releases.
Ordered replacement cameras for 4 of 6 cameras and will be migrating away from Wyze. Tired of the B.Sā€¦
If theyā€™re our friends, who the heck needs 'em?

Okay, I havenā€™t actually seen any of that on my phone, but you might be onto something there. It reminds me of this topic:

Iā€™m having the same problem on a Pixel 6 Pro running Android 14.

I have one V3 with animated notifications that isnā€™t stacking. The other V2s, V3s, OGs, V3 Pan, V4 cameras arenā€™t animated and stack. I like the animation, my security cameras do that, but the non-stacking notifications needs a fix asap.

4 different Motorola phones, 2 Samsung tablets
Wyze version 3.1.5.569

Same here, Pixel 9 Pro XL
Wyze version 3.1.5.569

Itā€™s messy and annoying, hoping for an update soon.

The team is on this issue now, will have an update very soon!

Mine too on Samsung Note s9, whew, that was driving me bonkers. Thanks Wyze for fixing it!

Mine is working, too, but notifications are no longer animated. I think they didnā€™t fix it, but instead they rolled back the change.

Youā€™re right, they just took away a new feature.
Hopefully they are still trying to figure it out.

The animated notifications are so great. Nest has had that like ten years ago.
It really helps make it obvious if the notification is important or not.

You guys are correct! We did a rollback to mitigate the current issue. Meanwhile, we have also fixed the problem, which will be released in the next App update!
