Wyze App notifications not stacking on Android

Why are the notifications on the home screen not stacking any more?
I get many notifications some times and each of the notifications show individually in the list requiring you to swipe each one away one at a time.
Why are they not stacked any more so you can swipe once for all the notifications in that app?

I just noticed this as well. I just changed phones and now it’s stacking for some cameras, but not others. So one notification icon holds 5 individual events while I have 7 seperate notifications icons for another camera.

Same issue here on Android 14 with a Pixel 6 Pro. It’s so annoying that I have had to disable push notifications all together.

This has been driving me CRAZY! Ever since they updated the app I’m getting those ~200 notifications a day all as individual rows instead of all nicely stacked. I’m about to completely disable. Android pixel 8

Same with me.
Latest Android OS on Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Some cameras stack, some don’t.

Same! It makes me want to turn off notifications but what good is having a camera if the notifications aren’t on?!

I’ve posted this issue (as replies) 3x, i thought it was only me on my pixel 8.

but also i noticed my notifications have doubled. usually i get 600 or so actual motion detections per day but the past few days (without changing any setting) i get like 1350 separate notifications, not sure if they are duplicates or not because i dont have time to sift through each one.

Same issue, Samsung S23 Ultra, Wyze app beta v.3.1.5(b566)
It seems that my camera sound notifications are still stacking but camera motion notifications are not. Another observation, my V4 camera motions are stacking but my V3 cameras are not

I thought I was the only one and contacted support about it. They gave me a pile of things to try, no change. My screen is clogged with W’s and is eye clutter. I can’t possibly clear all of these notifications…what changed? It’s recent within the last two weeks. I did notice if I open the app, they clear. I have a Samsung Android

I’m having the same issue. Dozens of individual notifications per day. Getting really ridiculous.

This is ridiculous. I have a Samsung 21+. There has to be a solution without shutting off notifications completely.

@bkschmidt2019 Agreed. There has to be a solution without shutting off notifications. Wyze wins that way. Isn’t the whole point of notifications so we are aware of security issues?

Agreed. I don’t use my cams for security. Mainly I use them for casual observation, record keeping, check on UPS/USPS , see if the lawn guys are working hard, etc. If I was concerned about security, I would buy a security camera.

Also having this same issue. I’ve tried changing notification settings from the app and on my phones settings, but nothing has helped. I submitted a ticket but still have not heard anything.
