Just installed… nice update to the descriptive alert event viewer.
But… why is the page not dark mode compatible? You made it brand new and still didn’t do dark mode? Ok….
It also looks like the viewer only shows so many events of a given day…then it won’t scroll before that. That is a fail.
I realize it’s a beta but still… these things are apparent within 5 minutes of using it. Why did it get released this way?
There are [sometimes] a new format of event notifications.
Some camera models sometimes will show an event notification with a play button to play the animated gif. It seems like it’s not working on every camera model, and even on some models it’s inconsistent. For example, I recently got several notifications for the dual cam pan, and some of the notifications showed the new play button for an animated gif, and some of them did not. And when I tried to play the GIF, everything was just solid green and didn’t actually show me the event. A couple times, I saw the play button and pressed play and it just went to a static image.
Seems like it’s still a work in progress though my initial testing is very limited so far.

Interesting. I may like it given some further fixes. Yes, my eyes were like what’s all this white stuff. And like @Earl.Automation said the event viewer only goes back so far. This might be a case of from this point forward. Much more testing needed.
@carverofchoice I see that on a Pan V3. It did sorta play but just caught the inner garage door closing part. It missed a “bit” of the actual human motion and caught the tail end only. When the bugs are worked out it could be handy though.
What I find strange is that at the same time when this beta was released they also released a production version. 
I noticed that. Not sure whose on first.
The latest on Google Play was the beta. Don’t know if that superceded PR or PR will appear in a day or so and supercede beta.

@WyzeAndy This is a typo. The 3.8.5 beta for iOS is 3.8.5(6). I assume the same for Android.

The 3.8.5 beta is newer than the 3.8.1.1 release. I commented on the typo in Andy’s first post.

Any way to download the APK?
I am part of the beta program but I still dont see it in the play store.
And of course I downloaded the new Cam Pan FW and now i cant view my cameras.

I get that, what I find strange is that both production and beta were released at the same time. Usually betas get released after a production version has been out for some time and new fixes or features need to be introduced. Looks like Wyze is still learning 
Is there an APK I can download so my cameras will work wit the new Firmware?

I’m still waiting for 3.8.5 b716 to be offered on Google Play. It’s been over a week. It usually doesn’t take this long to appear but it has happened before.
Being patient but this release is a prerequisite for a Cam Pan V3 driver update (4.50.15.4956) of which I have 4. Anyone else on beta waiting for this. Thanks in advance.

Which version are you on currently?
I had 3.8.5 b716, but then there must have been a hot fix released and I am now on 3.8.1.718
Yep, that is what I got. From a discussion I had, I believe it was a hot fix and the Google Store installed it. A new Beta should be coming out, not sure when though

I think they messed up this one and I didn’t help because I missed the prerequisite. I’ll keep an eye out for the next release.
