In order to get Beta and RC Releases of the App and Firmware, you need to make sure you are part of the Beta Group. If you have not signed up for it, you can go here:
Once you sign-up, you should be able to get the latest Beta and RC apps. From there, you can go into the App and go to the Account area. In that area select About, then Beta Program and check each device you would like the Beta Firmware for and save your selection.
Ok, just verifying. Sometimes it takes a bit for Android to make it available. Are you using your Android or iOS? iOS, you should be able to get the release via TestFlight. On Android, we are at the mercy of the App Store.
& 1 V3 cam pan to 4.50.15.4231 today…..bad idea. Because I lost functionality to the FIVE fire tablets i use as monitors. Those monitors are running app version 2.50xxx, because they aren’t compatible with app versions above 3.x
Now the cameras won’t connect because of the firmware update. .Now it appears I’ll have to revert all nine cameras to an earlier firmware to regain usefulness. Is anyone from WYZE listening? Also, why is there not a compatible app in amazons appstore?

agree. 4.36.15.4231 is trash on the v3. Every single one of mine worked fine before this update. Now they have very broken uploads that contain 1 or 2 frames if I’m lucky. Understood this is beta, but I’m at a loss as to how this wasn’t seen by Wyze testers. Do they ever test? now I get to spend all day reverting firmware.
Same here: all v3 and Cam Pan v2 events uploaded to the cloud consist of only 1 or 2 frames. Cam Pan v3 still seems to be working however. Thankfully, the events play normally from the SD Cards.
Edit: Should have mentioned this is with Android 13, app v3.7.0 (b690)
i use ios with beta app 3.7.0 (6) and updated 4 of my v3 to 4.36.15.4231.
i am not seeing an issue with event playback on these or my other cameras. maybe i am looking at it a different way? can you provide a step by step in wyze app taps to where you are seeing only 1-2 frames?

I have the Floodlight cams v1, with the second v3 cam connected to them.
Also have stand alone v3s.
All are on 4.36.15.4231.
Here are the strange results….
Cam V3 stand-alone.
Sound and talking events play the whole event, you can see the clock move and hear the audio play.
Person events only play a still picture, no movement on the clock.
Cam V3 Floodlight v1.
Sound events play fine,
Pet and Person events are frozen, they don’t play, just the freeze frame like the stand-alone above.
Cam V3 attached to the Floodlight v1.
All plays fine, sound, pet, person.
That is really odd, because the attached cams are the same as the stand-alone cam, They just get their power from the Floodlight.
Is it just me or is anyone else waiting to update to Android b690. Typically takes a few days to post on Google Play. This is the longest I’ve seen. Almost a week and I see others commenting above and they have it. I’m currently on b685.
I’ll hang for a couple more days. Then I’ll start looking at what’s going on with Google Play.
I noticed that events are playing normally again (for me, anyway) as of Aug 11. Events prior to Aug 11 are still just 1 or 2 frames. Apparently, Wyze must have changed something in the backend to fix the issue.
