v 3.2.0.9 crashing when tapping a single camera to view it only. Seems to only affect my V4 camera so far, haven’t tested all of them but some work and some don’t.

Thanks for running with my gripe/rant. I am not a Reddit user, but truly appreciate your post. I suspect plenty of others are up voting it. :grinning:

You’re welcome. Unfortunately I posted it so late that it was buried under all the existing questions that had a lot more exposure early on so it looks like the event time ran out before they got to it this time :sob:

Oh well, we can try again later. And, actually, I know Jason reads all the questions and passes the feedback on anyway, so they have heard it even if we didn’t get a public response since time ran out.

I don’t like it either. I would prefer it was on by default. Wyze please add a setting to set the default, or change it to be left on/off however last set.

Now today one of my V3 cameras didn’t label anything and this camera was usually didn’t miss tagging people or vehicles, but today it didn’t tag anything, so I have to think this update screwed things over.

I find it very odd that WYZE has made it more difficult/cumbersome to delete events. Before, when playing an event, it was one click to delete it from the cloud. Now, with this crummy UI update, you have to tap the screen, click the ellipsis, and then finally click the delete option.

Guess what WYZE, I won’t be deleting a single event moving forward. You have made it too difficult to do so. I suspect others will react the same way. Get ready to use (and pay for) even more cloud storage thanks to your self inflicted horrendous UI/app update.

All of that wasted space during event playback is SO silly. Again, a bit of common sense sure would go a long way!

Whomever at WYZE is in charge of approving these UI changes should be reprimanded and asked to take some unpaid time off. This way they can think about what they have done and how much their decisions are costing the company in cloud storage fees.

But I just fed the cloud yesterday with numerous hours of 5 min. long spider web strand videos from my V3 Pro. :laughing:

I feed it with at least 50 events of a Vehicle (my daughter’s parked Civic) every night. :rofl:

I’m finding a minor issue with selecting the funnel filter in events in 3.2.0 .580 and checking say the Pet check box or any actually.

Sometimes it clears itself and requires a couple tries. Otherwise mine has been working pretty good.

Can you reverify what app version you are using right now? That appears to be the production version, and not a beta app.

Version 3.2.0 (9) on iPad constantly crashes. Performing a live view on a camera will crash the app frequently.

I have 3.3.1 (581) that was just released for Android. I believe they also release a new version today for iOS as well.

I’m experiencing the same issue. App Version 3.2.0 (9) on my iPhone crashes after tapping the live view for my v4 cam only. All of my v3 cams work fine in live view just my v4 cam crashes the app.

On the bright side, I’m running the iOS Beta app 3.2.1 (2) on my iPad. I can live stream the v4 cams fine no app crashes.

This update was a huge step backwards! Below the recorded event videos there is a lot of empty space, yet Wyze decided to put the icons on the right vertical side for SD Card, Share and a More icon which only has two actions Download and Delete. What was wrong with it the way it was previously?! With the icons horizontally spaced and the delete icon easily accessible. You’d think by now Wyze would have a handle on how to layout the interface. It’s almost as if new people took over that department and started from scratch. And it clearly shows these new people don’t have any experience in app design. The only good thing out of this update is that we can toggle off multiple camera live views.

Now I’m also noticing that if I set a camera for All Motion Events it will only label recording as motion. While before if it could make out something in the event as something I toggled on in the Smart Detections, it would label it. So basically it would record Motion and Smart Detection events.
