Wyze app hotfix 3.2.1.581 - Released 10/28/2024

Today we are releasing hotfix version 3.2.1.581 of the Android version of the Wyze app to fix a few bugs we ran into.

Since then none of my Cam Pan v3s recognize their SD cards. And I cannot view events. I have tried deleting the cameras, reformatting cards, inserting new cards and no luck. Seems these cameras a re now useless to me. Just bought 3 black in July. And cannot return them now. I have tried to exchange, but been told I cannot do that either. I have seen in the forum that there have been hardware failures in these cameras and others were allowed to exchange them for new. I have been told I cannot. :man_shrugging:t3:

What if you navigate directly to the cameraā€™s Live Stream screen and try to look at the microSD card recording timeline? That seems to be the suggested work-around for now, until Wyze resolves this, perhaps with a back-end change as theyā€™ve apparently done before.

You seem to have an extreme case. Some of us are watching intently for the root cause of the SD card issue.

If I could suggest waiting for this hot fix to appear on Google play. We do not know what bugs were fixed.

After the hot fix, if your still seeing the same issue then let us know. We will need a lot of info

Sometimes. Usually get ā€œFailed to load from local storageā€

I often experience that as a self-resolving issue, going back through several previous app versions (including v2.5x). Iā€™ve been seeing that for months. Iā€™m puzzled by that and donā€™t understand why the app briefly shows me that message even if itā€™s going to go ahead and play an event. :confused:

You need a subscription for that! :joy:

ummm,

Where did the floating paper airplane for sending logs go?
I canā€™t even find the setting nowā€¦

Was about to send a bunch of logs for multiple cameras, and it is goneā€¦

I moved your post to the correct topic. You donā€™t see the submit log icon because 3.2.1 (581) is not a beta release. You can still submit logs via Account > Wyze Support > Submit a Log or via the direct device support links.

Instead of saying
ā€œRead our Release Notes:ā€
And providing a link, to just say
" * Bug fixes" ?
Since that is all the release notes says?
