I mainly come here for the entertainment.
What does this say about our lives?
We are happy and content?
Oh, so we’re clearly the typical Forum users, eh?
Definitely not. A lot of unhappy people out there that need to cry in their beer and look for sympathy.
May you be spared this…
…o currently complacent one.
I wouldn’t want to be anyone’s girl friend, let alone be one of multiple. That’s just sick.
I never went as far as thinking about Wyze’s gender.
As a man, Wyze does not attract me . I admire his cameras but that is about it.
Short GENERAL thoughts about why I think complaining is so common/easy online:
I think in some cases it’s just easier for people to jump on the general “sucks” bandwagon because psychologically it is well known that humans have an inherent negativity bias to pay more attention to and give more weight to negative experiences or information compared to positive ones, EVEN in cases when it’s not true, it also works with social bonding as it serves as a social unifier over shared grievances and dissatisfaction which has been demonstrated to create a sense of connection and rapport with others, which also encourages others to find a reason to be dissatisfied even if they otherwise would not have been dissatisfied. Add to all that the emotional release and attention seeking which affects internal chemistry like dopamine and it gets addicting and then amplified through social media with potential for countless instances of reinforcement and in some cases even increased delusion through echo chambers and algorithmic promotion for increased engagement. With the anonymity and distance protections provided by social media there is also often few to no social consequences, leading to increased dramatic reactions to amplify all of the above so SOME people will act in ways they wouldn’t do in person. This turns into a self-perpetuating cycle that snags in additional cognitive biases and becomes a runaway train-wreck in a person’s life if they let it run their life.
I have learned to generally avoid such things since in my past I had an issue with too much “Victimstance” and getting rid of that changed my life dramatically for the better. Now, if ideals and behavior between me and another person or company don’t align or overlap within a certain margin of error, then I just go elsewhere. It’s really quite that simple for me.
NOTE: There are certainly LEGITIMATE reasons to be upset, complain, etc. I’m not implying otherwise. Just speaking generally.
Thank you, carver.
Would anyone like to counter this statement with an equally sober and mature comment?
If you don’t materially disagree, advocate for the devil, but maturely, otherwise counsel for the social sciences will dispatch you with a flick of his perfumed wrist.
You should put this into your abomination generator (AG) and see what’s spit out.
Sorry if I went astray.
I have been trained by Dad and the Navy to be the best man I could be. Becoming a dirty woman for Wyze set me on a weird tangent.
Often, your dark humor escapes me.
Abomination Generator? Brilliant. But in times like these, we have too much abomination already.
In the eye of the beholder… one person’s abomination is another’s besottedness.
Beware the morning after.
Reminds me of what Gwendolyn told me and @cyberdog_17 on Discord about our constant pseudo-fighting and clowning on each other non-stop for fun, and pretending to get Gwen to rain fire down on the other person on our behalf…
But also, if it’s consensual, I’m not gonna step in on your dynamic. I won’t yuck your yum. (Handcuffs emoji)
Good ol’ Gwen
