Fortunately, my Samsung tablet can force most apps to landscape, even though they don’t fit properly. Lol. It is expensive and probably why most apps are made for phones in portrait. We can wish though.
I setup a wall kiosk with Fully kiosk for home assistant in a fire hd10, for learning fun, but really don’t use it much yet, so the HD-10 is unplugged for now.
Reporting in. This morning Cam Plus Unlimited disappeared and all my events, all, days of events. In beta 3 app.
Checked down detector and Wyze not down, so got on chat and got the usual recommendations.
I chatted little and am familiar, clean cache, force start, reboot phone etc. And had done most of that already. Did it all again.
What the app eventually failed to in vid below after all that. Strange. Lol.

Ok, notification sounds only set in the app. Correct? I have one of the Wyze warbles chosen for push, but it keeps playing my default sound. Already known bug? Or a fix?

I can change the default sound in settings notifications on the phone, but not in app3.
You can “favorite” your short cuts to the “favorite” page.
You can also “favorite” your camera group to your “favorite” page. You don’t have to have all the cameras indivdually on the favoriate page.
However, Your loading speed does not look normal. Can you please reproduce the issue and submit a log for us ? please post your LOG ID here for us to take a look.
18 and Wyze aren’t working together very well. But 18 is a big update, so glitches are to be expected. I loaded 18 on an extra phone and iPad mini 6 and lots of stuff ( almost everything with animation / overlays has issues. It’s to be expected.
Never mind, I removed the cameras from the favourites and added rules and groups. When I hit groups, cameras load instantly. Please, just make the shortcuts buttons smaller
Account Tab → Wyze Support → Submit a Log → Account and Services (at the bottom) → Pick whatever is most relevant…I am thinking “App experience” or “Other” → Type a description of the issue → Submit → Then get the log number and reply to Dongsheng with that log number
For better context in the debug log, just turn on the Submit Log button and tap the floating button (paper airplane icon) when on the app page related to your issue/suggestion. Turn the button on via Wyze app Home > Account > App Settings > Submit Log Button > toggle on/off. Tap the button once to get to the submit form. Long press the button and drag around the screen to move button to location of choice.
I’m sure the following is intentional, but I hate the following and don’t think it should be this way:
I added a new V4 camera to my main account, and during setup it noticed I have Cam Unlimited and said it was going to add the camera to Cam Unlimited and had a continue button.
I don’t have a problem with it noticing and SUGGESTING that, in fact I absolutely LOVE that 99% of the time. However, it shouldn’t FORCE ME to add the camera to Cam Unlimited. I didn’t want to add this camera to the subscription. I know that sounds crazy Why wouldn’t I want to add a camera to cam plus if I have it included? I can think of several reasons, but in this case I was trying to help someone who doesn’t have cam plus, so I needed to be able to see what it is like without it, but I couldn’t. Even though I didn’t press “continue” to agree, it added it anyway. And since I can’t remove it from Cam Unlimited in the app or website, my only alternative was to delete the camera and go add it on a secondary account that doesn’t have cam plus at all. Though, IIRC, I believe doing this (having a secondary personal account) is technically a violation of the Terms and conditions.
Anyway, I highly suggest Wyze update the 3.0 app to allow us to decline adding a new camera to the subscription. It would also be nice to be able to manually remove a camera from it in the app or website, which also isn’t possible at this time…but we shouldn’t be forced into things. On the old app it used to give me the choice whether I would allow a new camera to apply to cam unlimited automatically or not. I could agree or decline. Now I can’t decline. That should be switched back.
Home page FAVORITES needs a better way to change and move the cameras. I have non working cameras on my home page and every attempt to change favorites reverts to the dead cameras. Any tips?
IOS Wyze beta App 3.0.0(7) Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro cannot see SD card recording. Menu does not have that option. Floodlight pro FW 2.1.1.1135, IOS 17.5.1.
Hopefully a new beta will be released soon. Seems like they would want to test incremental fixes, but at 3 weeks since, we’ll probable just see a “release” with unaccounted for issues.
Trying to record from SD in OG Telephoto and app is having issues. Not error codes, just app bugs so far. I’ll keep poking at it.
Stuttering on SD video playback as well. Card or app, who knows. Inuse cheap cards and rarely record, but wanted this one of a buck. SD plays ok, won’t record very good though, had to use screen record.
Looks OK on mine, same iOS and app versions as you. Is it possible if you slide your thumb over the area on the screen that has “Take Photo - Record - etc…” menu items from left to right you should see the “SD Card” option hidden off screen just off to the left? So not currently displayed on the screen until you swipe/slide the menu items over…
