I’m also having the same problem. I’ve did all the things I was told still the same result. But with the Alexa app. I can use live stream and view in real time.

I use a few inside for the same reason… to watch our three cats. Recently I threw away two of my three remainong pan cams. They continually dropped the signal or failed to connect. They obviously were working somewhat as I had notifications of events, but couldn’t view them. Would randomly stop recognizing the SD card entirely. And we have never had a single pan cam of any version that didn’t stop panning after a few months, but most would at times turn themseves straight up and stick there, seeing nothing. Very frustrating and not worth the time and aggravation. I stick with the plain static camera now.

Anyone know as of yet, when an update will be available?

I have 5 of these cams, on 3 different locations and networks, and cannot see the livestream on the mobile app. The web “My Wyze Cams” version is ok for livestream, but you cant do anything with it, no panning, etc.

Im waiting also for an update but with my pan 3s link to alexa I can watch live view. Still can’t pan or look at sd card.

Which app version and cam firmware version are you running?

Im running the beta version I’ve done all of the tip I was given still no luck. This is going on three weeks on two of my cameras out if 5.

Beta version is meaningless. We need specific version numbers, both app and firmware.

Please keep in mind we’re all just Wyze users here. None of us work for Wyze.

Also, I have no idea about Alexa as I don’t use their products, but many here do and may be able to help if you provide version numbers.

Yikes.

There is no app version currently that works with that Cam Pan v3 firmware.

Your firmware requires a Wyze app version 3.8.5.x or higher and there currently is no 3.8.5.x app available.

You’ll need to either manually flash your cams back to firmware version 4.50.15.4800 or wait until Wyze pushes a new firmware update or a Wyze app version 3.8.5.x or higher update. If you have never flashed a cam before, it can be challenging to say the least.

We have yet to hear from Wyze on what the status of this mess is.

Thank you for the information but I’m not going though the aggravation of flashing a software that Wyze should be fixing.

That’s completely understandable. I’m not crawling up a ladder to retrieve mine in the cold rain either. I’ll try to see if I can get a Wyze response to this debacle, but it may take some time.

Yes, I have the same App/Cam firmware versions as well.

Not going to all locations and manually flashing with the cameras.

Hopefully Wyze sees this issue very fast.

I just verified that the app got pushed out today. Everybody go run your updates in Google Or Apple stores so you can access everything.
