News about Wyze app 3.0

Hello friends,

A while back we released Wyze app 3.0 and we have been watching your feedback closely. Some things brought up by you, the users, have been implemented, like the ability to sort devices into the order you would like.

Well, we have not stopped listening. I would like to share with you some features we hope to have ready in the coming weeks that you have said you would like to see. We are currently working on the ability to turn on and off the auto-stream feature that currently exists on the Favorites page as well as 2-options for the size of the device card, regular and compact.

We will continue to gather your feedback and look at ways to improve the app for you, our users and friends.

That’s great news. Can’t wait to see the updates.

Thanks Jason!

If you don’t get this in version 3.2… version 3.3 needs to COMPLETE the dark mode situation.

PLEASE FINISH DARK MODE - having the app look different all over the place is a little janky. Especially with all the overhaul you’ve done to the app.

…and app-wide landscape view.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. For crying out loud it’s 2024, AI is taking everything by storm and Wyze still can’t figure out dark mode and landscape view.

And please don’t take away a dark mode screen.
Has anyone else noticed the event filters page is no longer in dark mode?

thank you for this update. in fav0rites, please have 2 cams wide on iPads. like you do for other devices…

PLEASE HELP - -

We have been with Wyze almost from the beginning (over 50 devices, including Mesh Pros).

We are glad for the app update, but need the ability to LOCK/unlock the SCREENS for Favorites, Devices & Automations (to avoid accidental movement of tiles and keep tiles in static organization).

Also, need the ability to create SECTIONS in each screen section (Favorites & Devices), for better organization of devices.

Thank you.

Um, I could sort my devices right after 3.0 was implemented.

I would like my cameras to be a little less jerky. Maybe this release will remedy that.

@WyzeJasonJ, as you and the team consider community comments, I sincerely hope that you’ll pay special attention to topics like this:

Although I don’t share @sgiggar’s experience, I think what’s being described speaks directly to Wyze’s stated mission:

To make great technology accessible to everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to actively solicit feedback.

What about being able to put the timestamp into 12-hour format? I can’t stand this 24-hour format that’s been forced on me. Thank you.

Wow. I didn’t even notice. Guess it is my military training to ignore such things, Thanks.

And welcome to the forun.

Or being European

For me I was not in the military and I am not in Europe so the 24-hour format is awkward for me. I wish we had a choice of 12 or 24 hour format. It’s always been 12 hour so it’s even more awkward for me. Wyze please make it switchable!
