So…here we go again! I just don’t get it… 
It seems every couple of app updates, the Wyze Cam Outdoor V1s lose the battery percentage number below the thumbnail on the new Favorites tab.
Why get rid of this? I rely on it and it eliminates a lot of extra clicks for me. The battery icon is just not enough for me. PLEASE RESTORE THE BATTERY PERCENTAGE NUMBER!
I’m on Android app v3.1.0 (564) using a Google Pixel 8 Pro with Android 14.

Well, after this update all 5 of my wired cams including the doorbell went offline. Is this a feature or business as usual at Wyze Guys?

Define “wired”…
All Wyze cams are wireless, but power is supplied via usb cable except for the battery/outdoor cams.
All 30 of mine are online.
I do have a rule to reboot them all nightly.

I felt brave today and finally updated the iOS app on my iPad from 2.50.9 to the 3.1.0 (6)
I am not going to do my iPhone.
First thing I did was removed the 5 cams that were loaded as favorites.
The picture quality on my two V4, one V3 Pro and all Six V3 cams was horrible. I went to all the cams and cycled the live view down to 360 then back to HD or 2.5K and all the resolutions returned to the great view that have always had.
The only thing I have a need for is the device list, events and once in a while the monitoring.

What exactly does optimized smart mean?

EDIT: This is weird. I’ve updated the app on my iPhone and the Smart Focus is gone on all V3s. However I still have it on my iPad. Deleting and reinstalling the app did nothing. I wonder what the staff at Wyze is smoking?

Yeah, weird. That’s what my iPhone shows but my iPad has the SmartFocus icon and it works. At the moment I can’t take screen shots to share. You’d think that one thing that the app is supposed to do will get tested before releasing it to the public

I’m not home so I can’t compare to what my iPad shows, but if I remember correctly in landscape mode shows smaller live view screen with events on the right. You have to double click on the live view screen to go into full screen.
I verify this. My v3Pros have smart focus, but my v3s do not.
