Has anyone downloaded the new 3.0 App as of yet ? I am curious how it is working.as I just got all my cameras up again and am a bit leary about trying something new just yet…

If you didn’t participate in 3.0 beta testing, you’ll have a learning curve to go through. Once you figure out where everything is and how to create your favorites page to your liking, you’ll probably find the new UI faster and more flexible. If you have a spare 2nd viewing device, load it up there, not your primary, or you’ll get frustrated trying to navigate during a critical moment.

I just down loaded it last night and I love the new look and the simplicity of it. I also love the favorites tab! How ever the one thing I do not like is when your in the device tab which shows your list of devices you can now no longer turn lights on and off from the list page you have to open each item one at a time to turn off or on which takes longer to do! I do not like this at all I hope they move the power button back to the list as I find this a pain and time consuming! But other than that I love it!
Edit: so my lights were not showing up at first in my favorites but they are now and I am able to turn them in and off with out opening them!!! Yay ! So no issues for me now with new app!
I think the idea behind the UI is Devices is for administration, Favorites is for preferred general use. Why not access lights from Favorites?

Since the comments are mostly negative, I am sort of glad it is not available to any of my devices in the PlayStore.
When does 
. 1 come out?
Still don’t see it in the PlayStore. After reading @habib 's review I feel I can wait.
In case your Play Store daemon is on hiatus, do a forced manual check: Start Play Store app > tap your Google account icon upper-right > Manage apps & device > tap Manage tab at top > select Installed and also select Updates available buttons at top > tap Check for updates button at bottom.
Also, make sure your Play system components are up to date (wording varies depending on Android version): go to Android settings > About phone > Software information > tap Google Play system update. If updates load, your phone will restart. Then check Play Store for app update. If none, you’re in the Wyze gradual release queue.

I received an email from WYZE that told me the release was being done in a scheduled process so not eveyone would get it all at onece. The goal was to limit the workload on the system of everyone trying to set it up at the same time. Actually - a good deployment plan…

Yes, saw new themes and layouts in message for 3.0 so I downloaded and honestly see no difference except that quick menu to record or siren now stays on screen for only 3 seconds whereas used to be as ling as you want, so don’t like that because now have to tap screen to get tab then tap tab to get menu then press siren so longer process when use to leave menu then press siren when needed, was faster. Don’t know why they changed it.
Still looks the same and not like advertised in email so confused, and to post this realized no way to contact Wyze directly, they say help center but no direct chat, have to join forum. Camera working well but these little things are annoying and have to get camplus subscription for immediate alerts and more detection options, may try tapo tp-link to compare.
