Wzye 3.0 app doesnt meet my needs at all!

Wyze App 3.0 is horrible. It takes way tooooooo long to get your camera views on screen, I can only see 2 camera views on my phone at one time and when you scroll to see another camera view tou start the waiting game all over again while it paints the view in place. Ive tried talking to support several times, but only get questions like, are my cameras up to date, what speed is my internet connection, etc. Ive repeatedly said i have all my cameras updated, my internet speed hasnt changed since the new release of this crappy app update and ive asked if there is a way to get the old thumbnail view back or at least have an option on picture size so when you try to view cameras you could get more than 2 on a screen. No luck!!! This version of the app doesnt meet my needs. Im hoping support can see that and other options, if not i am goinf to have to look for another vendor as my next option.

Are you favoriting the camera itself so it shows a live view on your favorites screen? Have you tried grouping the cameras on the favorites screen? I have most my cameras in groups and view them that way and can see more than 2 at a time.

I haven’t tried grouping them, I didn’t see that as an option. I will look for that. That might work. I have about 6 cameras I want to be able to pull up to view.

What happened to the device tab or did I miss something?

I can’t order my cams the way I want them. Everytime I start moving a cam, before I can move the next cam, it moves back to the apparently new Wyze default of alphabetical order. Previously and in the new 3.0 version, the cams could be arranged by user preference, that ability has been taken away.

Did I miss a post as to the reason for this? Is the new AI Search feature responsible for this? I am a Cam Plus. Unlimited subscriber and did not opt in to AI Search (that I can remember), but it has been updated to my Wyze app.

I want the user arrange preference ability back for the device tab, please!!

On the device tab, and the favorite tab. You can rearrange the order of things by clicking and holding, then dragging the device to your desired location.

@Omgitstony - Thanks for replying. I am aware of how that feature works and have used it multiple times. I posted because it is not working on my app. As I indicated, every time I attempt to move devices, they are almost instantly moving back to the existing order, alphabetically with favorites at the bottom when favorites used to lead at the top of the device tab.

Looks like I may need to logoff and close out or delete the app and reinstall it. All cams are up-to-date along app for firmware. Android phone is my environment.

@Omgitstony - I made another attempt to rearrange my cams in the device tab. Everything seemed to work as I was able to rearrange all successfully. False hope!! I closed the app without logging out and when I opened it again went to the device tab, all cams had been put back in alphabetical order and again with favorites at the bottom of the list order.

Can you really tell me there is not a fault with the app on my phone? I did not delete the app and reinstall yet, I’ll try that tomorrow.

That is certainly not the way it’s suppost to be working. Some things you can try are deleteing the app cache then restarting the app. You can delete the app, restart your phone and then reinstall the app. What actual app version is this happening to you on? What model phone and Android version are you using? Have you contacted Support?

@Omgitstony - Device rearranges made in the last 24 hrs are still in place. Last time, I discovered that if I swiped down on the screen to refresh the page, my changes appeared. Fingers crossed all is resolved.
