Thanks @WyzeJasonJ .
Thanks Jason.
Landscape view in monitoring does not seem to work on my iPad?
I was gonna grab your post from the 3.2.8β test for @tc10 and ask about that.
I doubt it will ever happen. To complicated for Wyze developers
Thanks.
Ahhh just found it.
It only seems to appear when in live mode, which is helpful!
Just got the update from Google Play. All looks good so far.
Why did Wyze have to embed another screen orientation icon? Both iOS and Android already have that function!
That’s what baffles me as well as both OS’s support gyroscope functions on the phone/tablet. My guess would be Wyze developers have an issue implementing that function in the app, at least not consistently as some pages detect the orientation and some don’t
The previous version of the app freezes on an older Android phone while loading. I have to turn the display off, then on, to make it proceed. This version fixes that problem.
why haven’t you fixed the problem on not being able to view the SD card on the Cam Pan v3? The only way I can view the events on the SD card is to go to the camera view instead of viewing from the event notification. This is inconsistent with the other camera models. I’ve reported this multiple times and there have been at least 3 releases since then and the problem still exists. Disappointing
Still doesn’t fix the person detection filter button issue…If you have cam plus lite and click the person button, you get an ad directing you to purchase cam plus
Great to see the Landscape Mode, but wondering why the view is not taking full advantage of the real estate on my iPad? It does so on my iPhone.
iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen:
iPhone 16 Pro Max:
I’m sure there’s a valid reason to waste all that available screen real estate on the iPad?

First thing I did was rotate my iPhone to landscape, and wondered why it didn’t just pop into landscape mode… that would be my preference, but, I can live with tapping on this icon to put it in that mode.
Interesting the Wyze App responds rotating the phone from Landscape back to Portrait. I would think it would work the same in both transitions.

It’s the screen aspect ratio. It’s either show black bands or distort the stream to fill the whole screen.
It makes you wonder if different teams worked on different segments of the app.
I have the same issue.
I noticed that the events page only covers one of my cameras where the others (2 Cam Pan V3s, an older V3, and 1 other V4. On all of them I have to go into the live feed to see the events.
