Yes same happened to me so am manually flashing all cameras again as it obviously corrupted the current version installed
Two cameras came back on line about a minute after manual flash, the third had to be set up again. I am going to try the others now
I have tried manual re-flash but every time the bridge ends up flashing alternate orange and blue which is not right so the process has done something to the bridge and is stopping the camera from connecting to my router.
No, That was just āUpgrade all camerasā from the phone app.
Yes, it starts off light blue the clicks and goes to orange. Then it clicks twice, camera flashes orange and bridge alternates blue/orange. No further change after that.
I am trying to collect more information regarding the issue you experience with this upgrade. Could you or anyone have this issue PM me please?
I am having the same issue.
all cameras do not work with the app.
I can see footage if i put an sd card, and one of my pan cameras actually pans and follows me but no recordings through the app/cloud.
I called internet provider and its all good on their end so its wyze.
I can hear my v2 cameras cycle and click like their turning on.
i deleted one of my pan cameras to try and reconnect and it gets up to verifying the wifi and says theres no connected wifi or no specified wifi something.
I also tried installing the firmware manually, but nothing happens, doesnt continue, and does not allow me to add the device.
there were little problems with wyze, and i like it so much that i pay monthly for their services, but this is not okay.
Download a specific version of firmware, For Windows 10: Right-click on the folder and select extract all.
For Mac: Just drag and drop the folder, put it on the root directory of your microSD card.
For both Mac and Windows, rename the file to demo.bin.
How to FLASH manually:strong text
Power off your camera and insert your microSD card.
Hold the setup button, plug in your USB cable, keep holding the setup button
for 3-6 seconds until the light is solid blue, then release the button.
Note: The āSolid Blueā in this case is not the same as the one normally
seen on the camera. Instead, both the blue and yellow LEDs will be on at once,
making it appear to be a lighter blue.
Wait for 3-4 minutes. The camera will reboot and change light status during this time.
I have finally managed to get one of my cameras back online. Honestly, I tried so many times that I am now not sure of the exact sequence of events that lead to the successful connection.
I have another camera that is also offline so I will try to get that one going again tomorrow and pay closer attention to each action I take.
Update on my 3 failed upgrades. They were all offline, continuously cycling the upgrade sequence. I was able to downgrade the firmware to the July 28, 2020 (demo_4.9.6.156.bin) for two V2 cameras and a Cam Pan.
Troubleshooting tips: follow all the particulars the firmware page mentions including a 32gb card, FAT32 formatting, and an original cable.
The Cam Pan downgrade failed until I downloaded the .bin from the Cam Pan link, though it has the same name and size as the V2 file.
Settings and most recored materials were intact when they came back online.
Hey all, having this same issue. Upgraded all my cameras now none of them are connecting. Tried power cycling for two of them, then tried deleting the device and re-adding it multiple times but does not work. Only got error āconnection timed out please re-scan QR codeā repeatedly. Any updates on this would be great. Otherwise, will try whatās suggested here.
I too am having the exact same issue with my 4 V2s. Updated the firmware and they all have the code 90 error now. I power cycled everything and no change. I factory reset one, disabled my routers 5ghz network and bandsteering, and tried to reconnect one camera. The camera just says connection timed out, rescan QR code.
I had the same issue with Pan Cam. I fixed it.
Note: do not delete your previous Pan Cam device from your account. it will automatically replace it with the new name and When I plug in Wyze Bridge it all works with original settings.
Solution: I flashed firmware manually to previous version 4.10.6.156. Then add new device back to my account. Unplug your bridge if you have one. you will need Microsd card. I did try to flash new version again, but did not work.
