Are you ready for our new batch of Fix-It Friday submissions? I hope so! Thank you to everyone who submitted bugs for review and voted. Here’s what we have for the month of August:
Reddit - Bluetooth issues on Pixel phones affecting pairing for Bluetooth devices
We sent out a hotfix for this earlier this week! If you’re running into this trouble, please check for an update. There is a small percentage of folks who may not have access to the update yet because we have to hold a small percentage of the release back to be able to halt a release if there are problems. We expect everyone to be able to get the update next week.
Forum - Issue with ‘Turn off push notifications’ option, When using the setting ‘until I turn it back on’ it turns itself back on after 24 hours
We are looking for logs for this submission. Could you please also check if you have any Rules set up that would affect notifications? Here are the log instructions in case you can help us dig into this issue:
Recreate the issue. Then in the Wyze app, go to Account > Wyze Support > Submit a Log. Select your device from the dropdown menu. Then fill in the description box with the date, time, and time zone of the most recent time you noticed this issue and a description of what’s happening. Make sure the Send Logs option is selected and then submit your log. When you have the log number, please post it here as a reply to me so I can get it to the right folks.
Discord - Camera time and notification time do not match 
We have our developers looking into this issue and have been collecting logs. We’ll let you know if we need any more information!
Facebook - Cam Plus subscribers unable to filter events
We’ve been seeing reports of this and are looking into it now! If we need further logs or anything, we’ll do a callout for them.

Core - Playback stutters when selected for the first few seconds of Playback from the microSD card
We are working on a new firmware build for Wyze Cam v3 due to the issues we saw in our metrics with the one we were gradually rolling out. If you feel strongly that you want access to this update, you can flash the firmware using the file saved on our Release Notes page:
Forum - Wyze Cam v3 microSD card Playback is skipping the first minute of every hour (excluding midnight)

Core - Error 3001 is happening on cameras such as Wyze Cam v2
We now have a build in beta testing that looks promising! Beta testers, please give it a try and let us know if you still experience the 3001 issue on the test firmware.
Reddit - Wyze Cam Pan v3 does not return to set home position
We saw some folks asking about this one in the last week, so we’re moving this entry up higher to give it more visibility. We have put together a detailed post showing what is happening, what we’re looking at, and what we’re working on to improve this issue. You can find it here:
Core - Wyze Cam Pan v3 randomly stops recording
We have a fix for this in beta! Please try out 4.50.4.4767 if you’re a beta tester and let us know how it performs!
Bonus Forum - Wyze Cam v2 Detection Zone reverted to a box instead of a grid

Reddit - Phone call audio has to be turned on to hear audio through the iOS app for grouped cameras
We haven’t been able to reproduce this and are looking for help with gathering data. If you’re affected, could you please post a screen recording of this issue so we can check it out?
Discord - Wyze Cam v3 does not stay connected to the Spotlight accessory
We’re looking into the submitted logs for this now! We’ll let you know if we need more later.
Forum - When Wyze Cam v3s are in a group some of them will fail to load live feeds and return an Error Code 90
We added some improvements in the 2.44 app! Is anyone still having trouble with this? We are working on further improvements for future software.
Core - Cameras appear offline in the app, though they are online and viewable
QA found some bugs with this firmware and the team is working on resolving them. We’ll send another build to QA when it’s ready.
Forum - Wyze Sprinkler Controller schedule skipping days
We’ve been continuing to check logs and still aren’t able to figure out why this issue is happening for some folks. It looks like Rules are a functional workaround. If you’re affected by this, please try that method of control! We’re going to keep an eye out for more discussion on this one. It’s possible that our outcome here will be providing replacements as needed and recommending Rules if we aren’t able to identify a root cause.
