Nothing a hammer can’t fix

I love otter box cases, I got mine in there right now ![]()
But yes they are extremely difficult to remove from the case.
I’m glad they don’t make cases for Wyze cameras, imagine the backlash ![]()
Close, but no cigar ![]()
What a boob I am. Before commenting here:
I actually
’d the thread to see if @artglick was responding to something previously mentioned (‘scotch’, maybe?) but found nothing…??
My bad, Art.

Windows 11 runs android natively. I’ve side loaded the apk for wyze and it runs.
On topic though, i also have an outdoor cam that’s dead. It reports the battery charge but nothing else. Does that when it rains and the last few times came back to life. i have little faith. I also have a pan v2 one that reports online but no video stream. After hitting the reboot button in the app a few times it came back and is working.
I also created a rule to reboot at 3am every day. That might be helping.
It doesn’t seem like you were looking at the same thread as I was. I did indeed respond to the OP with a comment about single malt scotch.
What compelled you to think that I implied the rest of the thread was irrelevant is a mystery to me.
Moreover, you and at least one other person here seemed to think that the thread was deleted (in your case by me, no less!), yet here it is in all of its glory.
To compound matters, my inbox has exploded with comments from this thread and Wyze’s server seems to be ignoring my requests to unfollow it. It doesn’t encourage me to participate in this forum, but I guess that’s what I get for posting what was really in irrelevant comment in the first place.
You are a true artist and great swordsman. ![]()
Ah the French.
lars2 - you can keep that white stuff. It’s nice and pretty up on the mountains - WHERE IT BELONGS. Not in my yard!
One of our nearby 2-way radio sites. That tower is in 10 feet or so of snow. And this is southern California…
Looks like Frazier Mt. But from the description Sequoia. My picture is taken near K6BB btw.

Blueridge (also called Front Peak) - above Wrightwood
I’ve been watching cameras up on Frazier too.
This is where I spent most of yesterday. We had a little bit of snow last week, but it was nice and dry driving up there yesterday. Looks like a little rain right now… Glad I got done with what I wanted to do yesterday - the road is mostly clay and a real bitch when it’s wet.
I feel like I’ve heard your call sign on the Telco repeater weekly emergency check-in. Small world!
It was kind of a cluster’. ![]()
The thing deleted was a particular comment - #19 - my own, by me. The system doesn’t immediately remove a user-deleted comment. It replaces the visible content with a message - post removed by author, I think - for two or three days during which time the author can undelete it. If the grace period expires without undeleting, it is well and truly gone from the POV of forum members.
…Unless you choose to recreate it in a new comment, as I did upthread here:
…by ‘popular demand.’ ![]()
Stick around. There’s quite a good crew
here, overall.
Thanks for the heads up, but as I mentioned few posts above I’m all Apple, Mac and iOS ![]()
And you took Wyze’s incompetence on a fellow forum user?
I’m flabbergasted.
What does that comment even mean?
Did you actually mean “put” rather than “took”?
And if so, how the heck can you read that into my comment?
What did I say that could possibly make you think I was blaming Wyze’s lousy forum configuration on anyone other than Wyze?
