Bought the new Wyze Video Doorbell v2 - Just to find out it doesn't work with v1 Chime

Doorbell v2 support with Doorbell v1 Wyze Chimes. V1 Doorbell chimes are great, because they allow you to put a chime in your basement, backyard deck, or other areas that your typical built-in chime that comes with your house, doesn’t provide the ability to hear usually in remote areas of your home. I don’t believe this wishlist item has been submitted yet. I didn’t see clearly this was submitted yet.

Wyze’s update to this request is that they will “Probably not” support integrating the VDBv2 with the VDB v1 chime. They indicate this by assigning it with a status of either: probably not, maybe later, or in progress. This is almost definitely not going to happen.
