Another new freeloader

MFP has been telling all his friends, now everybody knows. :sob:

MFP is not a freeloader… He took care of your rat problem and he gives you the exchange of videos to post online to get likes in exchange for water and sometimes grub. Plus he shares good reviews and word of mouth about your low class diner.

  MFP has never caught a Rat, he sub- contracted that task to the Gray Cat. Out of the four different cats that were here last night the Gray Hunter cat is the only one who works for a living. Last night there was MFP, the new freeloader, the Gray cat and the black and white Holstein ( :cow2:) looking cat.

This is MFP at work doing what he always does.

Bah, semantics.
We could give countless examples of how a particular leader may not have “done the actual deed” themselves personally, but the only reason a thing got done is because they instructed it to be done, as evidenced by nobody else before them having gotten it done. Take the general of an Army…he is responsible for the success or failure of a military campaign even if they may not have personally fired a shot, they made the strategic decisions, coordinating troop movements, authorizing various degrees of force or actions, and ensuring it is accomplished. They could also make horrible choices that sink the entire mission and cause the death of the entire team. In that case, the fault is the General’s, not the people who all lost their lives because the general sent them on a suicide mission with no hope. Even though the general wasn’t there and didn’t fire a shot, he essentially proxied the actions he wanted done to have other people carry them out.

In other words General MFP took care of your rat problem and got it done. No promises about a new infestation though…it partially depends if you continue to make adequate “protection” payments to him.

This made me laugh, and I can only hope that some reference to @Antonius and his proprietorship of a low class diner would somehow make it onto a Wyze Forum T-shirt if such a thing ever came into existence.

The crickets ambiance just perfectly adds chef’s kiss to point you were TRYING to make.

But the life of a security guard can be mostly boring. If he does his job right, hopefully it’s always boring thanks to being a good deterrent. MFP is so good at his job that he ensures things appear mellow and boring. you might regret it if he went away.

Some security  , the Freeloader Cat came back, MFP is no where in sight. Are you now going to say that MFP is delegating his duties to other Critter Freeway felines ?

Maybe MFP decided it was time for a change and went to Krazy Katz Coiffure & Nite Spa for the camouflage special.

MFP was last spotted at 20:38 (8:30 PM for civilians) scratching up the edge of my deck with his claws again. Cat claw salon?

What’s the status of Wyze’s Friendly Felines feature for AI-enhanced detections? I know he’s commented elsewhere that he’s not eager to move to the v3.0 app, but I wonder if @Antonius would set up beta tests on the Critter Freeway for that and tag events whenever a polecat[1] is detected.

  1. Not an actual feline. ↩︎

 No Beta and no 3.0. If I could find a way to add MFP’s mug shot to friendly faces I would do it even though he is not friendly. He is anti-social, if he comes in the driveway when I am there he just runs across the street.

MFP must have two jobs, one is the day shift.
