I ordered the 47mm, but really wish they had some sizing side by side images on various wrists. 47mm might be TOO much, but its ordered.

Same here. Might be too big, but I went ahead and joined the pre-order anyway.
Agreed - I’d like to know this as well. I already jumped the gun and ordered the 47mm. It does look like there are more impressive internals on the smaller one for some reason.
@UserCustomerGwen any info on what eckmannmiles91 posted about the specs? Seems the smaller one has a little better internals?
lol totally. Forgot the word “smart”
Looks cool, just ordered 2…
So, I just did some digging and I think I found the info on both screens. First image is the 44mm based on the screenshots it is, in fact, a smaller screen (as advertised its .35" smaller for a 3mm variance. The second is the 47mm which appears to be more uniform to the bezel size.
Both screenshots taken from the Youtube video. I think the 47mm is going to stay my order. Either way for 20 bucks both are a steal if they can perform as advertised.
Does the Wyze Watch sync with Google Fit or other services?
Per the FAQ’s:
Is the Wyze Watch compatible with popular fitness apps (Google fit, Apple health, Samsung health, Strava, Fitbit)?
It is compatible with Google fit and Apple health
No microphone so no Alexa to control all my lights and TV’s. Bummer.
Great start at an unbelievable price!
Suggestion for Wyze…
To tie in security and accessibility for the whole family, I would love to see a version of this for kids. Similar to the GizmoWatch (and others). Those are garbage and more expensive. I think this would be a huge market for Wyze if they tailored could offer a “secure” & “safe” way for kids to be introduced to technology,
Features would include things like:
- Restrictions on texting/calling select numbers only
- Restrictions and limitations on apps that can be used/downloaded.
- GPS/geofencing alerts to parents.
- Restricted controls on certain Wyze cameras/lights/sensors, etc.
Most of your requests are unnecessary. Many of those limits are set by the cell phone (GPS tracking is based on the phone, what can be downloaded, who can be called or texted), not the watch. The watch itself can’t do calls (no mic or speaker) anyway. The watch relies on the cell phone connection for a lot of things. Restricted controls on Wyze devices are based on your sharing or not sharing a device with the person. If it’s shared with them, they can use it, if you deny sharing to their account, they can’t use it.
Does anyone know if this will track total calories burned per day like fitbits do?
Thanks; that makes sense.
I guess, then, my request is for Wyze to work with carriers/cell phone providers to be able to accomplish these things on their watch, as dozens of companies have done.
I don’t think it does this directly, however, if you sync it to Google fit, or Apple Health, I believe they will convert your steps/activities into calories there. If not in the Wyze app already, Wyze could probably add this later as the calculation estimates are fairly easy to do. They’ve done similar upgrades for other products.
- Alarms?
- Stopwatch/Countdown?
- Does it support notifications for other apps or just from those on promo page?
@UserCustomerGwen Thank you for the clarifications… Like others I’m thinking to wait for upgraded hardware with mic. Is there any plan in future roadmap for these missing features?
@UserCustomerGwen Can you please clarify on the Bluetooth. Your launch page says it is Bluetooth 5.0, but your FCC filing and approval for the watch all say it is only 4.0. All the FCC tests maxed out at 4.0 ranges too, including 2Mbps. Is the 5.0 a mistype, or did you do some hardware upgrades in just the last couple of weeks to get it up to 5.0 and just not register the updates with the FCC? Why is there such a discrepancy?
Wyze launch page says this:
FCC says this:
And FCC says this:
And lots more. Why are you saying it is 5.0? Is that a mistake or mistype like some of the other mistypes from whoever designed the launch page? Can you ask clarification if it is really 5.0 or if it is 4.0? It makes a big difference…and right now there is a discrepancy that could upset people. On other sites everyone is praising the 5.0 as a big reason to buy it…they’ll be pretty upset if they find out they bought it under false pretenses if it’s really 4.0…best to catch it early if that’s the case…
EDIT: Wyze has affirmed that the Bluetooth for these watches is indeed 5.0, and that the earlier FCC submission saying 4.0 will be updated. Wyze made a great decision to make that upgrade before launch! It is a significant positive.
Likely since the Wyze band does this.
The 47mm screen fills out the bezel completely compared to the 44. Kinda regret getting the 44 now.
