I haven’t, I disabled all the auto water or software algorithm watering, if I’m correct and all that is enabled even without a moisture meter, the system will respond to the weather, I could be wrong but I set my own schedules and disabled all the other bells and whistles.
Same here. Disabled weather and no moisture meter. Just my schedule and everything has been working since May. Fingers crossed.
Thanks you both. I’ll try that but the fact it keeps no record in the app is concerning. I went into the thread linked above and people are still having issues. Apparently the beta fixes some issues (some people say they still have issues). I’m thinking this might be a design problem. As in the schedules aren’t saved directly to the device and are purely triggered by the cloud (instead of being saved and then being skipped by the cloud based on conditions). My smart watering schedule was only set for Friday. Since yesterday was Sunday, not sure what could have triggered it from my set up. Wonder if Wyze has issues sending commands to the correct device so I just got somebody’s start command with no stop
I would suggest making sure the app and the device are on the latest update if they are not already. Hope it works out.
I figured it out. It’s because it was shared with me (I forgot since every other device is on my account). It still doesn’t explain the unrecorded starting but hopefully this update resolved that
