Any luck yet? What size SD card are you using? I assumed any size should work and had a brand new in pkg Sandisk 64G, Could not get it to reflash at all. Thought, “surely can’t be the reason…”. Made the effort to dig out an old 8G card and lo-and-behold it flashed over right away. Go figure.
I was using Firefox on Windows 10 64bit, and once I disabled UBLOCK Origin (which is a great ad blocker), it went right on through. I have already received the thermometer, and it works GREAT. That was great of Wyze to do that for us!

I can’t figure out how to get the cam to work with Skype. I know it works as I’m streaming live on YouTube but Skype keeps telling me there is no device detected.

@hrb I have had mine for a couple of days. Used on a couple of people and the readings were all slightly different but definitely within the proper temp range. I also posted a review on the Wyze shop page with some pics.
Before you guys work on rectal thermometers and face chats can you get a doorbell cam and an outdoor cam going? Or maybe get multiple camera feeds working! You guys have had way too long and are offering stupid products instead of getting good cameras on the market. I no longer recommend this brand to people because I see you as a gimmick and you’ve done nothing to benefit the cameras since I’ve purchased them. In fact you’ve taken features like AI away and bundle RTSP into a gimmicky extra firmware. I would rather you fool me and silicone the outside of a camera box and sell it to me as waterproof then work on scales and other frivolous items that every other Chinese company makes. Next how do I remove the it’s been a while since you’ve logged into our stupid forum where nothing gets done emails?
I had trouble ordering the thermometer when it was first announced. It just hung there and finally went thru. I received it and it works fine. Thank you.
What I didn’t like is that it was more than twice the price. It was a $20 item in December. On iHealth’s site it is in the $40 range and now it’s $53. I do appreciate you guys getting involved and putting this out there.
Look, I can afford it and I figured i’d get one for myself and the family. But I wish the mark up wasn’t applied.
There was no markup by WYZE, they did adjust the price for shipping. If you order direct from iHealth the price is about the same.
When you check out on ihealths site the total price is within pennies of what Wyze charges.

$20 to $54 is a mark up no matter which it’s put. With that said, I still purchased one and I shared links with my friends of the Wyze offer.
The 20 dollar price was I believe for the previous model. Either way it was a price increase by iHealth not a markup by Wyze.
No it was for the same model and back in December.
I already thanked Wyze in my initial post. Kudos. Bottom line is the thermometers were $20 and now they are what they are. A mark up. Very much the fault of iHealth for doubling the price during the current crisis. This is my complaint here.
Interesting. I actually looked at them in November. They were not 20 then. Wonder if they had a sale or something in December? Oh well whatever it was glad you got yours.
I ordered a thermometer that is on backorder, but recently received one from a family member so I need to cancel my order before it ships. Please don’t tell me to file a “ticket” of some sort, since I have already sent in tickets for other issues have never gotten a response on either, and have lost confidence in the process.
Please guide me down this process since there is no easy way to do it on your site,
