Since I lost home internet Friday morning due to ISP maintenance for about an hour, The wyze app on my ios device no longer show notifications when the doors are open and closed. Also the Wyze sense hub no longer plays the audio chime when entry sensors are open and closed (doors). It does notify me on the wyze app when the door is left open for more than 7 seconds. In the past when I have lost home internet this has never been an issue till this Friday (January 23rd, 2026).
Any assistance to solve this issue is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the update. I have been having an issue with some sensors not showing the status in the app after the battery died and I replaced the battery, however I know the sensor is actually working correctly because I get the chime on the hub and rule automations are working (both through Wyze automations and Alexa automations), it just wasn’t updating in the Wyze App GUI. I’ve been waiting for someone else to report something similar. I will try restarting my Hub. I didn’t attempt that yet. Thanks for the followup about what worked for you.
