Wyze Cam v3 , v3 Pro, Pan v2 and Doorbell v2 Firmware Beta Test 3/20/2024

I seldom use the web viewer, but just did a test with one of every type of camera that I have - V2, V1 Pan, V3, V3 Pro, V3 Pan, & OG-Tele. Every one connected except the V3 Pro. So then I added a second V3 Pro and that also did not connect. Using Chrome as the browser, and the two V3 Pros are on different WiFi one is at home (4 feet from the AP), and the other in my truck at work (a good 75 feet from the AP). Both V3 Pros work fine on my phone in the app.

Wonder what the difference is between yours and mine.

Don’t know. Just tried it again and two V3 Pro cameras failed to connect. The V2, V3, V1 Pan, V3 Pan, & OG-Tele all connected fine.

For whatever it’s worth, the two V4 cameras I just received are operating correctly on the webview.

I have rebooted, I even removed power and they still are functioning.

My Firmware is 4.58.12.9357

I believe it is the V4s being added is what has broken the V3Pro’s

I have 5 active right now (I have 7 but 2 are unplugged at the moment). Only 1 would connect to web portal. I restarted 2 others, and that fixed one of them to connect now.

Obviously this is not sustainable to have to keep unplugging and plugging back in every time they won’t connect, but it is good to know it might help some of them come back to functionality.

I tentatively call this firmware update a failure ATM. Please Wyze, do not push it out to the public before addressing the motion and web portal issues. I am told several people have flashed their cameras back to the previous version already to fix some of the issues in this firmware. I may do so for a couple of the more critical ones, but I don’t feel like flashing 7 cameras and I’m sure others don’t feel like flashing 15+ cameras.

Removed power to 5 of them, did no good.
All 15 3Pro’s still not able to come up on Web View.

I just want to add that my v3 on the this beta firmware does not send or record notifications. I walked by and stood in front of it no further than ten feet and it acted as I don’t even exist.

This firmware is not ready for prime time.

What is the firmware you are using on the V3?

Asking because I have mine hanging in the backyard and it picks pople and pets up all the time.

Are you sure a setting did not get reset when you applied the FW?

Wyze has been working on the AI Engine, could have been related. But it is strange that it worked for me.

I am glad it is working for you now.

Any movement on the webview and v3Pro’s?
All mine still not working.

Also anything on the V3 pro stopping detection after a day or 2 , then works again after reboot for about the same amount of time. Im really not sure on the point of the Beta forum to report issues if no one from Wyze never responds. Been 8 days since @cyberdog_17 reported it along with other users.
