@WyzeBaohua : can you try to push a testing firmware (ota) to his device from your backend?
@drj2171 if he could, he will need the MAC address of your cam. You will surely have news on Monday. He is very receptive. Good luck.

Thanks for the help. I’m patiently waiting on a fix hopefully there will be one. Also I will send any info they need.
I have updated two of my v2’s to this beta firmware, one has a Sense Bridge plugged into it, the other does not. Both are stuck in reboot loops but continue to update their thumbnail in the app.
MAC addresses:
2CAA8E22AACD (This one has Sensor Bridge)
2CAA8E2A0E4A
Both are rebooting about every 2 minutes according to my network logs that shows them authenticating every 2 minutes or so.
Wyze is aware of this. They actually pulled that version back, which is what I heard. If you roll back your version of the Firmware, you should be good to go. I was rolled back to .53 from .352 as I was working with Wyze on another issue…
Please note, I am not an employee of wyze. I am a community member as you.
@WyzeBaohua may be able to shed some light on this as well.
Sorry for the trouble. Could you first try to manually flash the firmware back to 4.9.7.1068? Here is the instruction: https://support.wyze.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031490871-How-to-flash-your-Wyze-Cam-firmware-manually.
If the manual flashing doesn’t work, please let me know. Thank you
If you tried manually flashing back the firmware but it didn’t work, please PM me the MAC of your devices. Thank you very much
Flashed both back to 4.9.7.1068 and both are now working as expected.
Tried flashing multiple times and @WyzeBaohua has tried with MAC address, no luck. Stuck in reboot. Even tried without WiFi and nothing (suggested by @WyzeBaohua). I guess this one is a goner. Unless someone else has any suggestions.
I am sure you tried this, but I would remove the power from the camera wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in and try to load the Firmware. I have had instances of having issues even after using the app to restart the camera, but once I removed the power and then hooked it back up, everything worked.
I had the camera disconnected for a couple of days and just connected it again for them to try and get in through the MAC address and then I tried a couple more times with the SD card and what was suggested about shutting off WiFi and trying it. I tried with the card about 6-7 times. @WyzeBaohua said that the rebooting was interfering with them trying to flash it. ![]()
So @WyzeAndy, is there some official place to interact with Wyze about the V3 RTSP beta? I have posted a number of concerns in this thread, but haven’t seen any official responses.
Just as a point of reference, one of the most significant issues is that the Blue Iris service crashes when attempting to enable an audio connection with the V3. IN my entire history with Blue Iris, I have never seen this happen before with any other camera, so I consider it to be a major problem.
What is the right place to give you feedback on the beta, and where can we expect to receive answers?
Did you check this thread?
Thanks - I posted there earlier this morning, but no reply yet.
A couple days ago I tried updating my two v2s and two Pans using the bulk updater. The v2s updated smoothly but both Pans failed. One of them succeeded on the second attempt. Now the remaining Pan has a solid yellow LED and shows know other signs of life, including updating from SD. Any ideas?
I don’t understand how the bulk updater relates to the beta RTSP firmware.
Why ask me?
Hi beta testers! I want to double-check if there is any more feedbacks about the V3 4.36.6.17 firmware. Did the rebooting issue happen again, or are there any other issues? Thank you very much.
Yes… But not the way it would happen before. Sometimes when moving around in viewing local recordings when you move around inside the recordings the camera would stop working. Then it would reboot. I would know it had rebooted because you would see breaks in the continuous recording when that would happen.
This would ONLY happen on the camera that was rebooting on the old firmware. (I have one that never ever had the rebooting issue and one that did). So the one that did have the issue will ONLY do it now while viewing or moving around local recordings stored on the camera.
Thank you for the feedback. Could you send me the MAC of that device?
What do you mean "moving around in viewing local recordings? Is that like moving the timeline bar in the SD card playback? Thanks
What is 4.36.6.17? I thought this thread was for the 4.61.0.3 RTSP beta ? Did I miss a memo?
