Wyze Cam - Constant Issues - error code 20, -27, -200010 and more

If a cam that close to the router has the issue (keep in mind, things can be too close, but as long as they’re at about the same height, that shouldn’t be the issue), then that points to an issue with the internet connection, could be ISP network issues or an issue with the router, especially if it is an ISP supplied router.

I use a TPlink AX5400 at my shop (because earlier in the thread it was suggested to move off the ISP modem/router) and the ISP supplied modem/router at home.

Both have the same issue.

So at the shop the AX5400 connects to what - a cable modem? Or is it hanging off an ISP router (in which case it won’t help anything).

When you say ISP modem/router at home, are you viewing this stream always through that, or do you have the same issue if you’re at the shop using the local network?

My incoming cable is connected to the ISP modem, which I have in modem/bridge mode and from there I have my AX5400 directly connected to it as the router.

Doesn’t matter where/how I’m viewing either of the locations, they still throw those codes.

Is that the setup where the cams are (the shop)? If it is set up that way where the cams are then the ISP router shouldn’t be the issue.

Narrows it down to
Wifi signal between cams and router
ISP issues
App/viewing device

I have the same issues with using only the ISP router/modem (at home), and AX5400 (at shop).

Both my home and shop experience the same issues, different internet providers, and (as noted above) different hardware setups.

I’d probably focus on the phone/viewing device then. I don’t recall if you’ve tried it or not, if it is the 3.x app, uninstall it, reboot, reinstall it, see if that makes any difference? Have you tried it on another phone or device?

Its version 3.1.5

I get the issue on my phone, tablet and even the webview (from my PC).

I’ve uninstalled, restarted etc etc.

Well the only thing I can think to try at this point is set up a new account for temporary testing, put one cam on it (obviously you won’t have cam plus during that test on that cam) and see if the issue continues. Maybe it is some sort of issue with the account or server that your cams are connected to etc.

Yea, pretty much only thing I haven’t tried. Might as well! haha
