I have had a wyze base station with two cameras for a few years without any issues. Recently I had to do a hard reset on our internet modem and my base station no longer connects. I have deleted the base station and trying to reinstall it without success. It won’t connect to my internet, I have other wyze cameras that are still connected to the internet but the base station and the wifi cameras are not connecting. I have purchased a new ethernet cord and that didn’t help.
What am I missing?
Whatever you do, DO NOT delete the cameras. Offline outdoor cameras are bricked if you delete them when they are offline…a Wyze security feature in case someone steals your camera.
That’s what I did when I looked online to troubleshoot- are these cameras (2) and the base station useless now? Can I set them up as brand new? thanks for your reply-
I don’t have any of those but there are plenty of posts about them being unusable if you delete them from your account when they are offline.
