Connection issues between camera-base station-app

Okay so I got my Wyze cameras from a friend and he gave me an outdoor camera that comes to the base station. Now it looks as though the base stations never been used, but the camera has a like start date from 2020 meaning I’m assuming they used a different base station to pair the camera so that it would work. my problem is for some reason I can’t get either of them to connect to one another, even though they say they pair and the pairing is successful, but when I go in the app, it shows me on the camera to connect the station on the base side it shows me to connect a Wyze camera and I don’t know how to get them to connect . it doesn’t show me it doesn’t show me a picture. I can’t click on to see a live stream, but it sends me updates of the like view of outside every once in a while if somebody walking by or somebody driving by and I just wanna know how to fix this cause I’ve rebooted them. I’ve deleted them. I’ve refreshed them unplugged plugged back in like disconnected them tried to reconnect them to one another tried to reconnect them to the app. I deleted the app. I tried to redo the app. None of it worked, somebody said trying to cable being smart and going out and buying one I tried to connect to an ethernet cable that connected to a gaming system or computer just to test to see if maybe the ethernet cable that came with it but no it still didn’t work so I have no idea what to do and like some help on how to fix these cameras on my car. I also thought that maybe if I connected it to my subscription for the Wyze cameras that it would just fix itself overnight after connecting it to the Wyze cam plus but that just instead of sending me pictures now send me videos, but I can’t click on them I can’t anything. I just have to swipe them down to just see a bigger view of it, but I’m not allowed to click on it because it brings me up a blank screen, does anybody know how to fix this problem?

I have the exact same problem. Except — I have 2 Wyze Outdoor Cams that I am trying to connect to the Base Station. No luck, no matter what I do. I’ve updated the base station firmware and I’ve updated to the new Wyze app ver. 3. The voice tells me I successfully completed the pairing, but the app tells me that the base station and cameras are NOT connected. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Exactly what I’ve done and still nothing. Did you get yours brand new? Mine were “used” and the base shows it’s the first time being used where the camera was activated 4 years ago. I don’t get it and when I reached out to Wyze they had no clue…

Yep, I bought 2 Wyze Cams Outdoor (and base station) from Amazon. Just tried setting them up for the first time (we moved and just found them in a box!). Charged them up, set up the base station in the Wyze app. I see one cam in the app, but no video/image is possible (and the voice said “pairing unsuccessful.” Base station light is solid blue. I’ve created a ticket with tech support so hopefully they will help. I’ll post back if they solve this one.
