After viewing any camera and listening when using Bluetooth headphones on android, the app will not release the audio back to the OS even after navigating away from the app. In order to get it to release the audio, I have to force stop the Wyze app. This has been going on for at least 4 months, but it’s taking me awhile to figure out what was going on. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Just to clarify, are you saying that you listen to a camera audio through your headphones, then you turn your headphones off and the audio keeps playing and won’t disconnect (won’t release the audio to stop playing in the background); or are you saying that the audio won’t play through the Wyze app on the phone speaker (won’t release the audio from the Bluetooth headset to go back to playing on the phone).
I have noticed a few times that my camera audio kept playing in the background of my phone, but I couldn’t figure out when/why it gets stuck playing in the background, and I am wondering if it is related to this in some way.
Thats awful. There some audio issues for sure. I have no sound on live viewing and if I turn itbon while live viewing therevis no audio in the wize app BUT THEN it disables all my phone audio. The only way to get it working again is to restart. i am on android Samsung galaxy 8. It runs smooth and efficient on everything and with sound exceot WYZE APP!! I am so frusrated i have sent 5 tickets with logs. No response. I been trouble shooting myself. It was after 3 -5 updates ago. I cannot have s system that does not work then disables my phone audio so my other brand cams cannot notify me. Arrrg.
