Installed on my Android Devices. So far seems to be working well.

I just enabled bird detection on my Bird feeder cam and added new food. We’ll see how it does.

Nice, let’s see how it does.

You should enable Bird Deflection and watch your feeder videos turn into a live version of Angry Birds! :smiling_face_with_horns:

Unfortunately; having a bird tag just changes the tag from pet to bird. Which… would be helpful for a bird owner in the house but doesn’t tell me much on a birdfeeder.

Once it’s identifying birds (which they said they are working on), then we are onto something. I can at least search for red bird or yellow bird in the AI search. That helps to find the Cardinals that land.

I’m still hoping they call it Cheep™.

Anyone see this?

Is this referring to the Multi-Cam Timeline on the Monitoring Tab?

I just wonder when we’re going to get full dark mode and full landscape mode. It seems that they are adding more and more glitter and no substance

I did when I saw the “What’s new” section for the app in Google Play Store (when auto-update doesn’t beat me to it, I generally like to read those before applying updates).

That was my interpretation when I read it. I haven’t yet installed and played with it.

Hear, hear! (I used the Cambridge entry.)

Yeah, likewise, but conspicuously absent from the description in the OP here, and no Event quick navigation button that I can see on the Monitoring tab after installing. :man_shrugging:

So mysterious, much like SightSafe!

Here it is in a cam group with only a single cam, the last Event far distant in time (about 12 hrs.) You tap the button and it takes you to the far distant Event and plays. Zip.

I was hoping they were zipping from an Event being viewed on the Timeline to the full size and enabled version on the Events tab. Maybe later?

I’d be on board with a feature pause to focus Wyze on addressing improvements to existing products and addressing needs in the app.

As someone who will keep subscribing to Wyze regardless of dark mode being available across the app, I still would REALLY appreciate this and at this point it’s kind of feeling lame how long it’s taking. Dark Mode UI seems like something that could be put into a punchlist and knocked out without impacting any services, meaning surely it would not be as big of an undertaking as changing the backend way something works. Just focus on it and get it done, and then from then on you have happy users at 2am when they squint at whatever screen Wyze app takes them to.

Thanks for the updates. Please focus on the basics that users have been harping on, it will build goodwill in addition to making us happy.

Any chance this will be more than BIRDS ..??

We would like to identify if deer, bears, raccoons, otters, etc. as well. We do not need species!! :slightly_smiling_face:

@wyzejason .. there seems to be a glitch in the updated monitor function on iPads?

It seems that pull down on the screen will load, but sometimes that results in misaligned display of cams in the monitor view . Any restart of iPad Wyze app looks to require another pull down.

This may be a ‘feature’ to reduce battery use?

Has anyone noticed that Wyze is using more battery?
This was overnight.
I expect that this is for the added functionality …

I am having to recharge battery more often.

I will monitor for a few more days to see if just an exception.

You made me lough so hard that I sprayed my keyboard and monitor with coffee

@tc10’s examples above seem to be even more indications that Wyze should perhaps have a specific focus on iPad/iPadOS users for testing.
