Wyze App on Ipad Won't connect to Battery Camera Pro

With the last update to Wyze app on iPad version 3.2.6 (1), my Wyze Battery Camera Pros will not connect. I get and error -17. The app running on my iPhones connects without issue. I have try deleting the cameras and adding back in, still fails. I have 3 different iPads, the same behavior on all 3. There are 5 iPhones using the app which work just fine.

The cameras still capture movement and the iPad app will still show the most recent event.

Anyone have a solution?

I don’t have a solution off hand, but I believe you found a new issue in the hotfix update.

If you are willing, I think it would be helpful to report it to support with an official support ticket so we can make sure they have it officially logged in their tracking system. If/when I see others reporting the same thing I will make sure they report it too so we can get this fixed in a new update.

The Android app recently had a crashing problem with the BCPros in a previous update for this month, so it might be similar code causing this issue with the iPad too. If it’s totally different then it’s a weird coincidence. I’d like to get this on Wyze’s Radar.

Is anyone else with an iPad able to replicate this same issue? If so, please post about it and post a log too.

With Android, it was found that if added it to the home screen, then in app settings turn on comfortable card style and autoplay, the BCP would stream.on the favorites tab and then when you tap on it, it would load.

That is how I got it to work.

Loads of positive, helpful tips today, I see by all of your posts. Thanks for bringing cheer and optimism. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

There is a hot fix for iOS that should take care of the issue.
